Good for you now try it in an apartment building where you don't live.

Still waiting for the first actual instance of vote fraud traceable to ACORN.

My last one went to a PO Box, and I don't live at the post office.  And I'm still waiting for you to explain why ACORN has been submitting fraudulent voter registrations if not to try to use them to vote.

I've told you twice. ACORN didn't do anything. ACORN employees submitted fraudulent voter registrations to pad their paycheck. Other ACORN employees were quite frequently the ones who reported the fraud to authorities.

It is still incumbent on you to provide a single instance of vote fraud related to ACORN registrations.

No, Ken, ACORN set up the dynamic of paying for registrations - that's the felony it was convicted of last month in Nevada.  And the reason that's a felony is because everyone (including ACORN) understands what that leads to - massive numbers of phony voter registration cards.  So why is ACORN paying staff per voter registration card, since it knows what that leads to?

As for your absurd question, let me just hop on down to the polls in Philly and start demanding ID from people so I can compare it to the voter registration rolls.  Oh wait... I can't do that.  It's a bogus demand and you know it.

Felony conviction? Please show me where there was a felony conviction in Nevade in regards to ACORN.

Or perhaps this is what you are trying to allude too.. withuot actually citing it.

Facing more than a dozen felony charges in Nevada, ACORN pleaded guilty to one count this week for illegally paying canvassers to register voters during the 2008 presidential campaign. The deal means that ACORN will avoid going to trial, which was scheduled for later this month in Las Vegas. A judge will determine the sentence on August 10, according to a spokeswoman for the Nevada Attorney General’s office, the prosecuting agency.

Since ACORN is a corporation, it will only be fined and there will be no prison term, the Attorney General’s spokeswoman told Judicial Watch. The fine is expected to be a maximum of $5,000. In November the ACORN supervisor overseeing the illicit Nevada voter registration scheme pleaded no contest to two counts of conspiracy.

Correct.

Compensating voter registration is a felony in Nevada.

A low level felony with a 5000 fine and probation or less than one year in jail.

Considering they were charged with 13 felony counts, you really feel this is something to crow about?

It isn't illegal in most places to pay registrars.

You are perfectly entitled to do just that. All you have to do is become a poll watcher (that's what they do). You can also go down to the Board of Elections and get a list of registered voters who voted in specific precincts on specific dates. The political parties and individual candidates get the lists all the time.

*chuckles*  So how many felony counts do they need to plead guilty to before you accept they're a criminal organization bent on undermining US elections?

Well they CAN do that in Wisconsin now that the law requiring ID has been passed.  But I'm pretty sure you're opposed to that.

LOL The business was defunct.. why des the business care what the business pleads too?

Why, if the charges were so "iron-clad" did Nevada accept a plea on one count out of 13?

The business is largely defunct because the authorities have caught on to the criminal behavior it has been engaging in.  And for the most part, the politicians that it had been supporting are doing their damnedest to distance themselves from it.

If they had done nothing wrong, why accept a plea on even one?

Seriously...  there's a reason the GOP generally won't defend Richard Nixon - even if most of us don't believe he's the bogyman the left pretends he is, he's still a crook.  And he's not even as big a crook as ACORN.

tazzygirl -> RE: YouTube - Wisconsin Passes Voter Suppression Bill (5/22/2011 6:22:36 PM)

Cheaper to plead on one with no jail time and a small fine than deal with lawyers for either side. It always comes down to money.

They pled guilty. Spin however you want, they admitted to doing exactly what they were accused of in Nevada and a dozen or so other states.

tazzygirl -> RE: YouTube - Wisconsin Passes Voter Suppression Bill (5/22/2011 6:28:19 PM)

ACORN is a bigger crook than Nixon.

Just had to bold that... simply because its so laughable.

Obstructing justice, abusing presidential power, and refusing to obey subpoenas by the House are not as big a crime as "for illegally paying canvassers to register voters during the 2008 presidential campaign".

Wow... rofl... you are just tooooooooo funny!

Yup they did. And you will notice i never said they weren't guilty.

Bulshit. We all know why ACORN shut down and we all know it was a huge lie. That's all your side could do was tell lies. It's pathetic people were so gullible to believe the lie. It's even more pathetic that you are trying to make claims based on that lie.

Yes it was. Breitbart and O'Keefe lied. You ran away last time you claimed this. Would you care to actually defend your claim this time?

Since we know the territory is under the USA and that the US and USA are not one in the same.

It sounds like if they stay on this path, they deserve every bite jeffery Dahlmer took out of them.
