Talk about desperate tactics, well, the law and rules are for everybody and they can’t ram this law through like this. This is not democratic and probably illegal. "Voter Suppression" lmao....if you dont have a fucking ID you cant drive, you cant work, you cant have a bank account, you cant get welfare. If IDs are required you cant vote twice, you cant vote if youre dead, you cant vote if youre not a citizen. If youve got a problem with IDs for voting, move to a country where the elections are determined ahead of time.

Brain, You do understand that in many states you can be detained and/or arrested for not being able to provide id? There is no good reason to not have one.

The only votes this will stop are fraudulent ones since there are no fraudulent votes in Wisconsin now it will have no effect. Thus , unless there is fraud you don't know about it will make no change in who votes. PS go Packers!

Termy. An the that's both side of the coin. There is no good reason why anyone should not have an id so asking for one shouldn't be a hardship. But on the other hand why is this so important right now?

Yeah, RIGHT NOW, IT'S AN EMERGENCY. Just like the patriot act, which happened after the fact. That's why right now. Impending doom. They want to do it before the fact. Let's hope is works as well as the rest of the shit they do. As I have stated, actions go a long way in telling of intent. Really though, most people who don't have or want a picture ID don't vote anyway. Think about a few other things here as well. They are going to exclude certain voters, and they hope those are voters who would vote for the recall. Are they right ? The guy got elected in the first place, but now people are pissed. Now what we have here a majority of repulicans in that room. Did they call for the recall and then do this ? I don't think so. So it was the voters who had previously voted for mostly republicans for governor and reps. So some minority fring element got this recall through ? Doubtful. Good for us politicians don't think as well as they steal. My money's on the recall passing anyway. T^T

Wisconsin is in the middle of a state wide recount and still no evidence of even a little vote fraud. In reality vote fraud is very rare nation wide but GOP controlled state houses are passing all sorts of new laws restricting access to polls, Florida just greatly shortened early voting as another example, claiming that they want to prevent vote fraud. In reality they want to prevent demographics that don't vote Republican from voting at all. This is very telling evidence that the nationwide conservative movement does not value democracy as much as it values being in power, for the sake of being in power.
