I called Bush names, and I do not care what people call Obama... Do you think this is new? It isn't new at all. We have a first amendment right to call public figures whatever we like, when that is suspended, let me know.

Name calling is only relevant or stings if there`s truth to it. Like people calling President Obama dumb.Everyone knows that`s not the case so it`s laughable,not serious,not sincere. The critisism "president mission accomplished" got was quite sincere, heartfelt and based in truth.

I have noticed the name calling also and while I agree its their right, i also agree it makes the ones doing the name calling look bad. Of course I feel the same way about posters who call other posters names based on mere differences of opinion. If they offend me personally I hide all their posts and refuse to engage them any longer. If insulting the President bothered me I would do the same to THOSE posters as well.

You know what cracks me up about that... it is the hypocrisy of those on this thread that decry those who called Bush names, and even those who were friendly to them, and now they sit on their hands and say NOTHING about the blatantly racist names that Obama is called, and the racist jokes about Obama... etc etc etc....
