Honestly this whole problem would be entirely solved if only the collarme admins would pay attention and give me what I've been asking for.

"Fake" as a checkbox next to the existing orientation drop down.
"Ask a Fake" discussion board.

The only reason it's such a problem sorting out the true doms and subs from the fakes is that there's no way to properly indicate if you're fake.

OP, you seem to be a reasonable adult. If you have the ability to spot what you believe to be is a fake profile, why do you believe that other people need to be instructed on how to do the same thing? The only time you are helping someone is by providing information that they don't already know.

The guide and the thread that followed were much more informative about you than about fake profiles.

Normally, I have an issue with 'How to spot a scammer" type lists posted on the boards, because scammers can and do use them to improve their profiles. That said, this one was just silly and I can see that it earned the OP a well deserved cluenema from the forum snark brigade.
