and yes, that end of it is really interesting, too. then it's more about discussing the belief system in place at the time (like talking about the difference between a Westerner's ideas, and an Aboriginal Australian's ideas), and how it impacted the culture that used it. even still, just playing around with it doesn't make you a non-intellectual. =p It is hard to understand the cosmology of any group of people unless you really want to sit and listen to them describe it to you, and in my mind, anyone that dismisses people are "stupid" because they have a cosmological view is missing a great opportunity at understanding the human condition.
