It's a beautiful dance even if a DUDE is doing it. :>

I prefer the female version of it.

I used to love to dance and still do but don't have the time to do it as much as I used to.

Back on topic....belly dancing is hot, I don't care whose doing it. That being said, if you want to throw a bit of tribal fusion style in the mix, Rachel Brice is fairly easy on the eyes...and she moves like a snake.

Sadie is one of my absolute idols -- she has a gloriously humble personality, she's beautiful, and she's an amazingly technical dancer.
She's based in Colorado, and with her dance partner Kaya, but honestly, Sadie's the star of the two. She's pretty brilliant.

Status: offline 		and on the subject of tribal fusion (which is my primary style, though i'm in a branch-out phase)

Irina Akulenko is a gorgeous dancer, and terribly underrated. you hardly ever hear of her, but watch this --

the general big names of tribal fusion are the Indigo girls; Rachel, Zoe, Mardi, etc., but there are some wonderful (and i might even say more interesting) dancers that you just don't hear much about.
Elizabeth Strong is one; she's glorious and has such a natural vibe to her dancing --

and then there's Asharah -- she's a very academic dancer who's familiar with boatloads of dance history and technique (which is unfortunately somewhat rare in the tribal fusion world). i love that about her and also that she has always been her own person; she's never copied anyone else's style, she's built up her career totally on her own. she used to be primarily known for her mechanical, gothic style, but she's been branching out and opening her style up more.
