I dont know who wrote it, but are seriously you trying to convince yourself that the post is a FOX NEWS article?

The OP was a LIE, deal with it.

Yes. It doesn't matter which individual working at Fox wrote the article, because this is who it's owned by:

©2011 FOX News Network, LLC. All rights reserved.

tazzygirl -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:53:12 PM)

And you are trying to insist that Fox is posting actual news articles but to you they are only blogs. A blog has a blogger who posts. Fox News is posting those articles.

Do you need new glasses?

Sanity -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:54:58 PM)

You were punked, just admit it

True or false, its not FOX NEWS as your article said, its Fox Nation

They hid that fact in their little story didnt they

Yes or no...

Really?....you are actually thinking that changing an eyeglass prescription will cure what ails him ? Seriously?[8|]

imperatrixx -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:57:13 PM)

Yeah it's not a blog at all. It's a community news site. The content is presented as news articles, not opinion pieces. There is no opinion added to the articles, they are copied verbatim.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:57:46 PM)

oh my gawsh...

FOX NATION IS PART OF FOX NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

Fox News itself states ownership of Fox Nation. Fox Nation is an arm of Fox News, which means that they are part of the same entity.
all i can say after this is, good grief man, you have one ironic screen name.

tazzygirl -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:58:21 PM)

The only changes are the headlines.... deceptive enough.

Sanity -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 3:59:18 PM)

Fox Nation, from what Ive seen of it, is like a news talk show, there is news content and its owned by a news organization but like Hardball and such its not the same as the hard news portion

And again, it has people from left right and center posting there

Fox Nation is owned by Fox News Network.

I guess it's interesting though, they have their main news site, then they repost news articles with shock headlines in the part where comments are open.

Like...here's the news, and here's the redneck version of the news.

Why do you think they changed the headlines on the news articles they posted to Fox Nation?

Sanity -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 4:00:34 PM)

Oh my gosh, its still a lie to claim that Fox Nation blog posts came from the FOX NEWS website... [:D]

I didn't link any blog posts.

I linked news articles.

Edit - in fact, they specifically note their opinion pieces as "op-ed" so there's absolutely no way you can see the news articles as "blog posts."

I know this won't really come as a surprise to anyone, it's just amusing to see the stark contrast.

Follow the link. There it is claimed that the blog posts are FOX NEWS articles, and they even photoshopped their screen captures, cropping out the Fox Nation banner in order to punk you and to further the lie

LillyBoPeep -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 4:05:36 PM)

it's not a lie because fox nation is accessible from a tab at www.foxnews.com -- at the very top is a tab to "fox nation" which means that they are part of the same entity.

here is a link to "the last word" on msnbc - http://thelastword.msnbc.msn.com/
THAT is a blog because the name of the author is there, and her pieces are original opinions based on news articles, not repostings of news articles with different, more sensational titles.
"the last word" is part of msnbc.

You see it as a lie because you are viewing the Fox Nation articles as original "blog content" instead of AP news articles reposted with different headlines.

I can't do anything to change your perception but I will repeat my question to you - why do you think they changed those headlines?

Sanity -> RE: Real headlines vs Fox News headlines (6/27/2011 4:09:35 PM)

Thats like trying to claim that Maddows or Mathews programs are hard news, MSNBC news, because they are on MSNBC or whatever

Its a ridiculous lie, else why did they feel the need to crop the Fox Nation banner from the screen capture

The same reason people posting news articles here change the headlines, they are reposts.

Look at it this way, Collarchat thread structure is kind of similar in format structure as Fox Nation. Someone thinks a story is interesting, and they post snippets of it, and they create their own headline, and people comment on it

But it isnt the news, nor is it meant to be

Because the width of the article itself wouldn't always line up with the site headers.

They also cropped the banner from the "real" news articles they posted. Are they trying to hide those sources too?
