The same reason people posting news articles here change the headlines, they are reposts. Look at it this way, Collarchat thread structure is kind of similar in format structure as Fox Nation. Someone thinks a story is interesting, and they post snippets of it, and they create their own headline, and people comment on it But it isnt the news, nor is it meant to be quote:

I can't do anything to change your perception but I will repeat my question to you - why do you think they changed those headlines?
