She was studying for her Masters in nursing to become a nurse who does anethesia. That means she has at the very least a Bachelor's in nursing.

Glad to hear that this is the same in the US as it is over here...and therefore then pretty much shows how likely she actually is studying nursing-anesthesia-whatever....

It is because if you are in so much pain you can't function in your day to day life, you either do something about it or shut the fuck up.

Very well said [:)][:)][:)]

No, she dropped out of the master's program and is now studying to be a massage therapist. And if we believe what others have said, she has jumped into other things from selling Avon to who knows what else. She said in the first post, how she loves being a student and "can't imagine being in class." Even gets depressed when not there. Someone who has been in school since 1992 and still isn't working?

She gets $850 a month in disability, and she should be getting something for her kids from Social Security since their father is dead. Phoenix, I know you don't live in this country, but Tennessee is not one of the most expensive places to live. Where does her $850 go, to Art to help pay house expenses? What about the Social Security for her kids, does he take that as well (which is completely against the law). Kids' SS benefits have to go into a special account with a beneficiary trustee who can only use that money for the kids. She could use it to help pay for housing for the kids, but then would probably have to stop buying them all the electronics that they enjoy because they don't do their chores.

Again, this is whine, whine, whine, and then whine some more. No interest in a solution, thirteen years of school, which includes a bachelor's degree in nursing and too selfish to see what she is doing to her kids because she agreed to be a "slave" to this guy.

Sorry, you can't get anything done around the house, you don't have time to post all the time on the computer and you sure as hell don't have time to go to the clubs with your partner and get tied up and beat for fun. No way when you are in as much pain as she claims. Of course, Art could be out doing this to others while she lays in bed, but that just proves again that he is making things worse.

These two belong on fucking Jerry Springer.

And will continue on to cold lasers etc... plus o signed up for the one ye teachers program...... lets see ( ok go ahead and laugh) psychology ...... history.... literature ..... again nursing ( not finished)..... between that and so many seminars ( makep- Jane Iredale and Mac ) on and on..... that is my resume ..... for those who were confused.

LaTigresse -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 8:34:41 AM)

I read that and think.......well yay! None of it appears to be doing you, or anyone else, a lick of good.

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 8:35:39 AM)

agreed.  my initial thought was.. "yeah? so? all this shit and you STILL cant be a MOM?  STILL cant support yourself? STILL need a fucktard to give you (false) esteem?"

*sighs*

I had thought SO much better of her..

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 8:45:36 AM)

But I pray it will again. I am passionate about the field and laying in bed is depressing. Ya I take way to much tylenol ibuprofen etc to make it through the day. Yesterday was a major break through in so many ways. The kids did everything without being told too many times..... we talked.... and now in 2 weeks I and the kids will be leaving.... what he needs I cannot give. I'm not going to give up on my career because.its important to me... I have to try. O have to succeed! My kids are my heart and not once have I ever put art before them.

Arpig -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 8:50:37 AM)

I'm getting bored with all this character development, isn't it about time the plot was advanced a little here? I wish the author would have either of the protagonists do something.

poise -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 8:53:48 AM)

The title of the book could be The Walls Of Castle Arturas Come Crumbling Down.

But I thought you were doing all the housework and not being praised for it.

Zephyr you make no sense

GreedyTop -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:04:30 AM)

pot, kettle, black?

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:05:31 AM)

Okay, slower....

You don't seem to be able to keep track of your story. One minute you are spending your time laying in bed the next up doing all the housework and noone is taking notice.

Maybe you should keep notes or a chart to make it easier.

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:20:01 AM)

Where did u get all that? When the house is clean and/ or I'm in to much pain then I have to go back to bed. Come on I may not make everything perfectly clear in my post but I've never tried to twist others words.

Arpig -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:28:20 AM)

Why haven't you gone and done anything about your medical issues yet?

Oh that's right, you have no intention of actually doing anything about it...well in that case, my advice to you is as follows: Do this.

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:37:04 AM)

Arpig,
Why havent you seen that i am back to a new doctor, scheduled for upteen test (all of which ive had before), scheduled to see a new neurologist, rheumatologist, pain clinic (gahhh!), and others. Hence waiting in line for test, sleep studies etc. Cant really go anywhere with this new doctor until its all done. But i can tell ya, its fibromyalgia which means, deal with it. They are looking to see if there is anything else, besides all the rest. Praying this doctor wont end up with doing the whole pill pill pill shots etc. Done with that, time to get back to alternatives....

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:39:36 AM)

Tammy,

I hope you find relief from your pain, a home for you and your children, and support for your depression.  You have a lot of very positives to work from.  I wish you the very best in all things.  I am sure that facing a breakup, the uncertainty of finding a home and the fear of the unknown is enough to have anyone in bed depressed.  Especially when they were already depressed and struggling with things.  It will be ok.  You didn't get several Bachelor degrees by not being able to follow a course and see it through.  Sure, you will find obstacles, but those obstacles are only there to guide you to where you need to be (read that in a fortune cookie, so it must be true [;)])

WinD

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:42:15 AM)

LOL my fortune cookie (the last one) said i should have stayed in bed! i met henry in 2006 while at a college for disabled in mansfield uk

he always smiled that was what made henry henry

only prob was all he could do was smile and drool

his days were spent in a wheelchair with a talker which he operated with his mouth, weekends we used to have brunch in the college restaurant, he couldnt speak so his food was chosen for him

but in the evenings everyone met in the bar and henry always had people round him

he had a very good personality which drew you to him

he used to write lovely poetry typing it with his mouth into his talker

its not the disability that holds you back

its the person that looks at you in the mirror everyday

and its that same person and only that person that can start the change

tammystarm -> RE: Fibro, school, house of 6 (7/10/2011 9:50:55 AM)

omg READ first! annoying, there are no longer 2 just me and two fantabulous kids. I am blessed. I wish Art the best and everything he has ever wished for.
