Is there a non law enforcement (sold to general public) product that can be used similarly to the electronic monitoring systems law enforced uses to track offenders? Ideally it could be locked on, can be tracked real time with PC software and provides an accurate time line of a person's movement. I'm assuming there may be iPhone or Android apps, but also assume that the subject being tracked can turn these off and on.

I am looking to provide micro management capability that can be verified.

Well, I understand this kind of micromanagement is fulfilling for some folks so I don't knock it, but if the man didn't trust me, then that would tell me he doesn't trust his own judgment, which would tell me I shouldn't trust his judgment...and we'd be screwed.

But for the purpose of exercising control and making me feel it?  Oh yeah, I love it.

I'd be surprised if it's available in the USA. The legal prospects when it's used for stalking would be ugly.

I only know of the apps on phones, currently in use.  I think parents can use them to check on their kids' whereabouts, but it means having a phone on the parents plan - that sort of thing.

It's kind of early for Me, but can't this be done via cell phone now?  If you are on a 'family' plan with some cell phone agreements, you can include the option of GPS that will tell you where the other cell phone is located at all times?

I know that there are programs like this being used here in the United States
by some delivery services. Darned if I remember the name of it though.

when my daughter was younger I had gps tracking through her cell phone. ATT&T offers the service for 9.95 a month. It was great so if she told me she was at X's house I actually knew if she was there or somewhere else she shouldn't be.

Don't see why you couldn't use that.

Sure, there are a lot of companies that  make personal GPS tracking devices for children, cars, and pets. They're small, smaller than a pack of cigarettes, and can very easily be engineered into a lockable device. I could do it in less than an hour. Try googling "personal GPS tracking" and see what comes back.

Yes LadyPact. I am on the Sprint network, and my son hates it when I text him that
I know where he is (my favorite restaurant) and to please bring me home a gyro!

Thank you, poise.  I thought I might not be thinking correctly.

If I can't trust someone to be open and honest with me, why the hell would I bother with this sort of crap?

An iPhone does it just fine. No, it cannot be turned off if you lock it on. The phone itself can, of course, be left somewhere. But then again, you can call the phone and if there is no answer....

There are also, to my understanding, GPS tracking devices meant for tykes and/or teenages. They probably cannot be "locked on" but a bit of re-engineering the attachment mechanism would probably solve that.

In general I agree with others who have said that if this is a trust issue then you've got bigger problems. But I understand that it may not be a trust issue. Rather, it may be just the "hotness" of the "control". I see it as no different than locking collars or the difference between actually tying someone down and simply saying "don't move".

Why do you bother tying people up? Why don't you just tell them to hold still?

I'm often told to hold still.  Tying up is for his visual enjoyment.  It's not because he doesn't trust me.  The OP is saying it's a trust issue.

What, you have never done that? I don't tie them up so they won't get away, I tie them up cause it makes my cock hard and her cunt wet. Nothing like putting a quarter against the wall, forcing her forhead down against it and telling her the scene ends if she lets it fall and then tormenting the hell out of her. Or doing it with thin string.

Now I could see using something like this for a rape scene so you can find her at the time of your own choosing or something like that but to actually check up? Fuck that shit.

If you are worried about the phone apps being turned off by the "subject," either you have trust issues with your s-type, or maybe looking to track someone without their knowledge.

Either prospect doesn't bode well for a relationship.

the "can be verified" right at the end sure fucking implies that, doesn't it. not to mention the title.

You're never going to lock something on someone and have it be impossible to remove. They haven't even found a way to do that to eagles, with humans you have no chance. That said, if the person being tracked is yours you can simply tell her not to tamper with it.

As to the larger moral question, to each their own. Personally I could see it being kind of hot being able to know where she was every second of every day, though nothing is a replacement for trust in a relationship, BDSM or otherwise. It would be more of a kinky control thing rather than an actual way of alleviating the fear that she might be disobeying.
