Batteries require lead mining and lead smelters Boatloads of mercury and other toxic metals have to be supplied to the compact fluorescent manufacturers, some how Windmill farms take up space,and require roads and intrusive measures to put them in place and to maintain them And so on People need energy, but there are no perfect solutions. If Shell fucked up Shell shouldl pay the price, but it doesnt mean we can or should stop drilling.
