LadyConstanze, Exactly my point, if we bring this analogy to Dominant/submissive relationship, leadership should at the hands of the dominant one, otherwise, the weak (the submissive in this case) has to do it. Something I do not want to do in a relationship=- outside world is another story. I will lead and I am a strong one

Lady Angelika, As with all your writing, I find the OP extremely clear and it generated a worthwhile discussion. Part of me wants to join this discussion, but another, wiser part of me realizes I'd sound like a jaded, elitist prick if I did. Thus, I shall remain under a self imposed gag order. E.

Methinks this is the type of `disconnect`, or `not rising to the challenge` the OP is speaking about is about as clear as day! Saying you are or will do something, but following your own agenda when it suits you best, is not part of the Domme-sub dynamic. So for instance, when a sub says he will call you one night, but doesnt, and proceeds to then screen your calls in the next following days... Yeah, huge disconnect there. I am not sure if there is a way to bridge that kind of gap, but if there is, Id love to hear it.
