ORIGINAL: Iamsemisweet The clean plate syndrome, OMG. My mother was a terrible cook, and she got really offended if you didn't eat whatever disgusting thing she was trying to feed you. Canned three bean salad. Pressured cooked canned asparagus. Scrambled eggs and cow brains. If you didn't eat every thing she chose to put on your plate on holidays, she wouldn't let us have dessert, and went into a screaming rage because she had worked so hard. One year, she made this "shrimp cocktail", canned salad shrimp and ketchup. I ended up throwing up In her shoes. That was awesome, but I have never been able to stand ketchup since. So, I guessing have food issues. Damn that's rough lol.
