No time, I guess, or much more likely he simply did not care because the lie fit perfectly well with his own political agenda. After what has happened recently it is no stretch to say that there is currently a war going on between the GOP and the unions. To suggest that "taking out" a political opponent through voting is far from hate speak and by you pursuing this any further might damper the itty bitty tiny amount of credibility that you possibly have left. Any politician that publicly states their first priority is to make the president a one-term pres.,...should be 'taken out' of office.
