ORIGINAL: LillyBoPeep both of the groups i've gone to have you sign some kinda little thing. one of them has you sign one at every single party, and the other has you sign one once a year. i have no idea what weight it would hold, if any, as a legal document. That's what I'd like to know...the legality of it. 'Cause if it doesn't hold any legal weight, what's the point? quote:
ORIGINAL: thishereboi I have been to a lot of parties and I have never had to sign a waiver. I have signed one at events that I have attended, but not at someones house. Not sure about the legitimacy part. I guess it would depend on what actually went wrong. I could see it at an event like DomCon, but a local play party? This one isn't being held at anyone's home. They rent the space. If I had the $$'s, I'd buy a space and invite everyone except the turkey-waddle who organizes the aforementioned play parties.
