Maybe I'm getting bent out of shape for no reason...

Status: offline 		I'm coming across a lot of profiles where men and women of the dominant variety are stating things like, "All women know to submit to me." Or "All men should learn their place and bow down before me, a Goddess." Frankly, if find the lack of choice a bit disturbing. Are you saying that as a dominant woman I am not doing it right? Am I to assume that all dominant men should stop living by their sexual preferences? To me it is as ignorant and discriminating as someone saying, "Being gay is wrong." We, as a community, need to realize that there are dominent people and submissive people (using people because I believe that man/woman doesn't encompass all gender). Am I crazy?

affect on you, so I would guess you are getting bent out of shape for no reason.

Coincidentally, your profile read in almost the same manner prior to your recent edits.
It even had you listed as a male dominant, which I'm sure was a simple mistake?

As for respecting others, I do find those types of comments disrespectful of others because not all men should bow to a women and not all women should bow to men. The word ALL is what bothers me...even if they say all submissive ___ should bow to me it's still not right...the only one who should bow is the one they own. You aren't a fucking God/Goddess you are human so get over yourself! The day you turn the sky purple with blue and green spots, then maybe we'll talk but no guarantees.

Status: offline 		Not only was I setting up my account, but I never said anything about all males should submit to me. I'm not worried about them hurting my feelings, I'm worried about the kind of stereotypes that persist in the BDSM community, especially about Dominant/submissive relationships.

I dont think that they are saying anything to you personally. I think anyone can present how they would like to represent themselves to the audience that they would like to attract. Their profiles have nothing to do with you.

What does the way someone attracts the type of person they are seeking in their profile have to do with the BDSM "COMMUNITY" realizing that there are dominant people and submissive people?

It is not your choice, you are not submissive. Ergo, don't worry about how other strangers present themselves to other strangers.

How you present yourself to others is subject to the interpretation of the audience. The large majority of male and female dominants on this site are horny singles who have little to no experience.

Crazy is a stretch. But since it's your first post I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. As for descriminating, the only discrimination here is your lack of tolerance. If a profile doesn't appeal to you by content or context, move on. Let the oblivious live in obscurity, it is nothing to concern yourself with, and a horrible waste of energy.
