This was said by a very cool guy who had 20 years in the USMC, and did, IIRC, 3 tours Iraq/Af'stan. "It's hard for me not to call for blood after the attempted murder of a young man who had turned his back on violence. (Yes, I am aware of the irony, fuckers.) I've made that well known by now, I'm sure. Addressing the narrower focus of the OP, though, I have a few things to say. •No negotiation. Negotiating with the corporate-owned political structure is giving them legitimacy they have no right to. If you come home to find a man burglarizing your house, do you haggle with him over the price of buying back your possessions? Occupations must continue, and even escalate to wildcat strikes if necessary (since so much of senior labor leadership is in bed with the same people as the fat cats), until only natural persons are allowed to make campaign contributions, or all campaigns are publicly-funded. •As far as we should be concerned ALL OF AMERICA is open for free speech activities at ALL TIMES. The First Amendment doesn't say "... during caddie hours, only." •Protest is not protest if you stop when you're asked, told or ordered to. Our country would not exist if people had obeyed the law and complied with the orders of authority." Right on. .
