Seniority ruled... and many took that day off. Many businesses support such movements. To believe these companies are left leaning is ridiculous. They merely understand that to have fought to keep employees on the clock who really wanted to go would only end up with disgruntled workers.

So yall are preparing the resons why the call to shut down the city in a general strike has been ignored. It must of course be something other than the 99% doesn't support you. This was OWSers putting out a serious call, in the place with your biggest "event". And it is ignored by the public at large. Zero unions went on strike with you. Zero...

He's citing a news article published before the union encouraged walking off . Whatever just the schools alone of this community of 400+K people constitute 'hundreds.
