Many "new moms" today believe the world should bend for *them*. Be it by way of welfare, or things like dragging their spawn to a movie where it can disrupt it for all the other moviegoers or dragging it to a restaurant where 90% of the people are just looking for a quiet meal and instead have to watch a kid throw a fit because the mother won't do anything about it. It all starts with breastfeeding at inappropriate times. If they are willing to "whip it out" without regard to others and their sensibilities, then they are automatically willing to drag it to a movie or a restaurant and ruin countless other people's nights. Do you think it's healthy for the kid to be toted around like a handbag everywhere?

Me personally? No. But it's like the stats for car wrecks between men and women. The stats are inherently flawed because they don't take into consideration the wrecks the careless women drivers cause, but are not involved in. Same thing here. Just as soon as you show me the "right" that is invoked when people sanitize the TV broadcasts and radio airwaves due to their own sensibilities. If they can sanitize things that I watch because of their beliefs, I can demand not to see someone breastfeeding in inappropriate places.
