Here's how it works.  i type a sentence -- sentences, P/pl -- in Latin.  The person below me translates and types in their own sentence.

Let's see if Y/you remember Y/your Latin (all Y/you old Catholics, lmao) or can Google with the best of T/them.

Here's my sentence:

Abutebaris modo subjunctivo denuo.

Well that one's clever.  "You were misusing the subjunctive mood again."

I'll do the next one; I borrowed it from Ron: "Nihil deest ad regnandum praeter regnum."

Lovers are insane.

But no one ever did "Nihil deest ad regnandum praeter regnum."

The best I can do is: " nothing to fail to regnandum past rule "

Here's mine:
" ego operor ignoro latin. "

It means (loosely): "All you need to be a king is a kingdom."

That's supposed to mean "Give me a hamburger, French fries, and a thick milk shake."  Not too good.  Literally, it means "Please give me a morsel of roast beef, tuberous nightshades roasted in the French style, and a fat coagulated milky act of shaking."

And it should be "frustum," not "frustrum."  I see it written "frustrum" on the net, but that's wrong.

I'm kind of too pooped to invent a saying in Latin, so I'll let someone else go.

I know NO Latin, except that horribly bastardized legal latin "we" use.  So, here goes:

Propriety forbids My translating that, but lets just say that it tells a man that his ejaculative fluids taste like old bivalves.

Nemo estares viventes.

And of course LaM knows Latin.  Of course. *smile*

"It's the same thing," he said.

I would loosely translate it as: their silence speaks volumes but I guess a more literal translation is when they are silent, they shout.

Well, yes, but the point is that every slave is an enemy.  However many slaves you own, that's how many enemies you have.  Not that I believe it...
