Yay for vandalism!

OP, we're about consensuality here.  Tagging is defacing a building, to which its owner does not consent.  You DO NOT disrespect another's property in the lifestyle, whether it is an owned person or an inanimate possession.

So? Are we supposed to care?
Buy canvases. The rest of your town isn't responsible for you "calming down." You're an adult.

true lilly very true....but also like i give a fuck.....graffiti is the only way to calm me down.....and i dont support that name writing shit just peices and throwups....(if you dont know what it is your on a computer look it up) i beleive that street art turns plain things into beautiful works of art

I think street art is very different from graffiti art. modern street art is becoming more political and controversial. The general public in the UK and France tend to celebrate people like Le Rat, Banksy and Sheephead Farley. I would be more than happy for one of them to come and paint something on my wall but only because they would double or treble the value of my property. I think its a shame that street art has become the new 'must have' in our cities and that these street artists are cashing in on what they claim to be graffiti art.
I have spent a long time sitting in squats and listening to interesting stories from underground graffiti artists and although I hate to see random scrawled signatures badly done on every street corner, I can appreciate people like King Robbo.
I'm not sure why you are seeking approval from people here. Most people just see graffiti art as destructive and I agree that a lot of it is. Some of it though is amazing and I would hate to see it on canvas and want to see it on a fuck off big wall and know that its been done in the dead of night. There is something exciting and liberating about good graffiti. Its like freedom of speech that may only adorn a wall for a day, a week a month but it says something to me that I don't really get from street art or paintings that sit in art galleries with high price tags on them.
