So sorry but one would have to be insane to put up with the extreme summers and winters that people have to face there in Iowa alone

Its probably the dullness of the landscape thats the root cause

Im not going to go looking up examples of how leftists are typically antigun, but I will point out how ridiculous it is to deny such things

The brady bill was named after raygun's mouth piece. Itwould appear that the left has no lock on the anti gun position.

Would it be just as truthful to state that those on the right are generally known to be pro gun assholes?

I'm not anti-gun, I'm pro gun control - waiting periods, no gun show loopholes, no automatic weapons.

Last year I went shooting with my manager, another "leftist" who happens to be avid about guns. He was a much better teacher than I had when I learned how to shoot an M-16.

Leftists used to claim that they cared about the flow of weapons from the United States to drug lords in Mexico

Whatever happened to change that?

...yea, because we know when the right wing does it...it's just ok.

The war on immigration, the war on drugs and the war on terror are ALL wars for profit, nothing more and reliable profit centers. All we do is banter about the tragic window dressing. Soon American citizens everywhere, will be collateral damage in those wars.

Seems getting 4500 Americans killed in a useless, unnecessary 1 year war that turned into a very, very, lovely profitable 9 years of war, the country being subject to serial lies about why and that too...is just OK with the right. If you weren't on board, well then, you didn't 'support the troops' [sic] or worse...were a traitor.

As far as I am concerned, allowing the pentagon to be attacked in any way shape or form is an impeachable offense. Such outlandish incompetence or criminality...take your pick, should't be allowed anywhere near PA. Ave.

Now look at what we choose as something worth the electrons.

Nope, your hysterical buncombe notwithstanding...they are only percieved by those teabaggers who are well known to be gun law promulgators.

Remember; the rightists are trying to take your guns away!!!

Well the thing is Operation Wide Receiver under Bush did about the same thing.  But it is the same Tucson office, that did the OWR, just a few rogue agents that need to go to jail over this, yanno, like Abu Grahib.  It doesn't reach beyond that.

And???

The President is now Barak Obama and Eric Holder is the Attorney General. You despised President Bush so why are you holding President Obama to a standard of a man and an administration you loathe?

Hey Fats, by god if you want to get with indicting and convicting W as a war criminal, then I think just like you guys did at Abu Grahib, we should indict and convict these few rogue ATF agents in Tucson that the W administration gave aid and comfort to.   But lets do it in order, hah?   We are trying to clean up the rightists lawless miasmas as fast as we can, and will get to that as well in time, cuz you guys did a fuckin heap of em.

Well,... Michael Savage said that the number of congressmen calling for Holder to resign is now 57 up from the 54 that I mentioned earlier.
If 57 congressman want you to clean out your desk it's gotta make you wonder how much longer you can remain in your current position.
I think it's just a matter of time for Holder now that his incompetance and lack of any management experience is starting to show through.
But,.....I could be wrong!

"Waiting periods" are useless. All they do is a quick check and then you wait. There is no such thing as a "gun show loophole" its a liberal myth. And registered "automatic weapons" are not a law enforcement problem.

The "gun show loophole" is a liberal anti gun talking point. Maybe you could explain it to us all exactly what it is.

maybe you could explain for us what your expertise is in this matter and tell us what the liberal talking point is in some detail with credible citations:

On this page is a clue that I have better than yeoman knowledge of this.  So we await your curriculum vitae in this matter, and your credible proofs.

Not the other way around, for outlandish and unsupported claims.

I'm not sure what your link tells us but ok I'll explain.

The"gun show loophole" refers to the fact you can conduct a private sale at a gun show as there are many sellers (not dealers) who are selling their personal guns (no paperwork or background checks). This same exact type of transaction accurs between friends and their gun owner cliques, through newspaper and trade publication ads, at flea markets and other venues. The only way to contol these sales is to register guns. The "gun show loophole" is a loophole in general that applies all over the place. "Eliminate The Gun Show Loophole" just sounds more palatable than "gun registration".

If they're a "problem" then who's in charge of them? The police don't seem to want to get involved in them nor the states.
If they're "a problem" then they're not being run the right way.
I've been to a bunch of gun shows and seen very few police there.
