Dr. Savage stated that Obama signed this Bill while in Hawaii on vacation over this past weekend. I have no reason to doubt him. Do you?
And as far as I'm concerned Obama's appologists with their blinders on trying to protect their leader remind of the Manson Family.
Just read some of the prodigious posters in here on that, post after post after post, day after day.
First of all, Popeye, I'm not trying to shoot you (the messenger( knock you down, put you down, or any of that). I have never heard of Dr Savage or the 22 or 23 books he's written, but I doubt you have read some of the writings of Dr's (PhD's, i'm assuming, but regardless...I've probably read books by medical Dr's too, that you've never read. And too, if you have, I apologize for the assumption, but we tend to read what we believe in. We tend to embrace what the author embraces. Even though you are just Dr Savages "messenger", you believe in him enough to talk about his opinions on things and how the president breached his promises to the country, via his "transparency". Until we put our feet in the shoes of the president, we really don't know what his reasons are for issuing orders without public knowledge. We had no clue that Obama and a whole bunch of WH peeps were sending Seals to get Bin Laden, either. Instead of crying about the lack of transparency in that instance, they were quick to reduce his efforts of capturing the Ace of Spades, most wanted terrorist, to the work of the Seals. And granted, I commend the Seals for their expertise and wouldn't even have the slightest interest in taking that away from them, but they were not sitting around a table or crouching in a bunker somewhere and decided they were just going to go out on a "Hunt, shoot, and kill Bin Laden" rage on their own.
Sometimes its a good thing to question what you hear and read and think about what is being said, and apply it to situations we have no clue about. But, like you voiced your opinion, I'm voicing mine. [8D]
*Edited to add I could care less where Obama was vacationing when he signed this order that your Dr Savage revealed to his listeners. I'm sure when Katrina hit NOLA, Bush made a lot of decisions right from Camp David where he was vacationing. He didn't rush right back to his WH desk to make any decisions...at least not that I recall. ☺
