ORIGINAL: MyHazelLabyrinth Now, this is something i'm seeming alot of especially on FL. Pictures of subs/slave/littles with marks or bruises or even cuts on certain body parts. And comments that suggest these marks are attractive or....i don't know the right words...appealing. I've never had a mark made on me by a Dom or alike so maybe that is more than half of why i don't understand it. I think for some it is symbolic of something. But i don't know what. As i'm still pretty unsure about the kind of sub that i am, not really knowing if i'm a masochist or not, well i just want to know....why are marks appealing/attractive? (if i'm using the wrong words here, feel feel to put your own in instead) Because when i see bruises or marks, i wouldn't want to show them off proudly, i would want to hide them. That's just me, maybe that might change later on but for now that's my opinion. Any and all feedback would be welcome :) Like others have said - think "love bites". Plus I do enjoy watching the girl take a seat on a recently paddled butt, esp out in public. Our little secret.... ;) And yeah, while pain logically must hurt to the uninitiated, the average submissive usually overcomes that by sliding into sub-space. That's when it hurts soooo good. Of course, this probably isn't so helpful to your research, considering you have another topic devoted to the mysteries of sub-space - sorry 'bout that.... Most things are better understood as a complementing (D & s) dynamic. Trick is to find that right partner to both experience the different physical sensations as well as (the important part to me) talking through what you experienced, later. Being a young, tall and slim fem/sub, I'm sure you'll find no shortage of volunteers to "help" you along. *Do* choose carefully, but.... Focus.
