Seems like he tried giving you what was designed to make you overlook your basic issues. So he'll 'allow' you to get fucked by someone else, great, you however would like it to be him, so that's something, but not what you want. Plus, who says he'll ever 'approve' someone for that position? He'll probably have issues with anyone you bring up. And why wear the guy's collar if he's not what you want? If your mental dynamic is so beautiful then why were you having issues with it? It's just so empty in the end what he gave you. I love the mind set of 'I have to because he said so'. The whole point of this is consensual, meaning there is an absolute and definitive gain for each person. Being a dom wasn't the problem, being a narcissist was. And people don't tend to choose to have this disorder anymore than I chose my OCDness. While I can have no attachment whatsoever to my ex, I wouldn't deny him my friendship on, what I consider, a superficial level. He's not a BAD person , he's a person with a disorder that is likely to hamper him for his entire life.
