It's the presence of filthy lucre in an interpersonal exchange.
I've known women whose boyfriends have turned sex into something transactional. They hated it. ProDomming turns kink into a transactional exchange. It's basically like prostitution in the sense that you're scratching an itch but doing so in a way which perpetually leaves you unsatisfied and wanting more since you're not actually building anything with a future. ProDomming leverages kink and psychological weaknesses built into every individual to turn a human being into a stream of cash. It's as cynical as any gold-digger since ultimately the guy would always be better off either going out and finding the type of woman he wanted or building himself into the kind of man who could naturally attract such a woman.
Don't get me wrong, I've seen similar things. I once read a poker manual which described how to set up a set of weekly poker games (one on every day) and win just enough to keep the suckers coming back every week for years. It was one of the most cynical, amoral books I've ever read, but at least it had the virtue about being up front and honest about it. Every time I see a ProDomme claim they're just providing a service, I roll my eyes at the charade.
Basically, the reason they don't talk about it, is because deep down they know exactly what they're doing. And if they have a shred of decency, part of them is ashamed.
Oh, and the suggestion that you have secret techniques is all part of the advertising. A ProDomme never forgets that every post has the potential to suck in more clients.
