If you found out that your M or your sub/slave was an illegal immigrant would you report them?

Do they have really gargantuan tata's?

Is that rhetorical? Would you have a slave that didn't have "Goodyear" written across her blimps?

That would be hypocritical of me lol I was an immigrant at one time myself. Although since I have a twisted sense of humor every now and then I might have one of my friends dress up as an immigration agent and yell at her "Run bitch, its LA MIGRA!!!!" :P

Of course not, how absurd, I'd use it to blackmail them into having sex with me.

Oh wait, that's just another Literotica plot bunny, I'd pretend I didn't know, or help them obtain citizenship.

Look Im a employer so I do know a little something about this. It is impossible for me to pay a employees taxes without a SS #. Ok so they give me a fake SS #. So the IRS sends me a letter within a couple of weeks <you can do it online now in seconds>saying this is not either A. Not valid or B this SS is registered to some one else.

So I go to the employee and explain the situation to them. One of two things typically happen, A honest mistake or they quit showing up for work. So yes they all have to be paid under the table to continue to work there for any length of time.

Even if the employer scoffs at the IRS. The IRS can and will seize the account until it gets straighten out. They may have gotten away with it in the past but not anymore.

Oh, i dont doubt that the US govt wants it both ways, they want the tax and then they also want to come after employers and fine and seize accounts,.. This article talks about some immigrants using ITINs instead of SSNs and it talks about them writing a check for the taxes when they file their yearly tax returns. Even if they work for a month, employers still send the tax to the govt, the govt isnt gonna send the money back. I would also expect they could form a corporation and get an EIN and operate as a sub-contractor for an employer..

Basically, my point was that illegal immigrants do pay taxes, you stated they paid zip..

That is what as known as a "contract employee" which is a whole different set of rules. Suffice to say it's real hard to have a permanent employee under those rules

Rockville Maryland isn't anywhere close to the Mexican border yet if LoreBook lived here for a year (or even half a year) they'd have a new understanding of how really important the ILLEGAL immigration issue is.

How so? I lived in that area for 20 years and I can't say I have any idea what you're getting at.

Since some of them are doing work that is beneath their education/experience/whatever, I would say that they'd be willing to work for minimum wage and that, because they have personal responsibility, they would not work a job that paid less than minimum wage and was "cash only" because they'd be afraid of legal rammifications (as would I).

Thing is, agricultural work is exempted from minimum wage laws, and depending on the size of the farm from overtime laws too. So it's perfectly legal and normal for some farmer to offer, like, $5/hour and no benefits or overtime and expect the worker to work 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Do you know any American that would do that?

Though personally, I think we should just make it easier for people to come here legally to do that kind of work.

ALL illegals are paid "under the table" because they dont have SS # even if they have a fake one it only takes a couple of weeks for the employer to be notified and then fired. Because the govt imposes HUGE fines to the employer for using illegals. So basically illegals "can't pay income tax"

I used to work with a guy that I knew was an illegal immigrant. He used, IIRC, his friend's work visa as his paperwork, and got a real paycheck with payroll taxes deducted, and that went on for a couple years. Now that was like 4 years ago, so they might be better about catching these things these days, but if the number and name you put down are real and the boss doesn't look at the photo too close I don't know how the Feds will catch you.

I'm a little with DaddySatyr on this one about the honesty issue.... if I found out my intimate life partner had been hiding something that big from me I'd be concerned about whether they'd been hiding other things and their general honesty. So I'd have to really think about whether I wanted to stay in a relationship with them.

But would I report them? No, I don't think so.

I've known a few people who're illegal immigrants, and they're here to support their families. If I were them, with kids to feed or little siblings to send to school or a sick parent and the only way to pay the bills and give them a good life was to sneak into another country and wash dishes or mow lawns for cash under the table... hell yeah, I'd do it. So I don't feel like I can judge them, nor do I have any desire to get them into trouble just for being here.

The thing about the OP question and that line of thought is that imo, its not realistic.. Imo, an illegal immigrant looking for a relationship will probe a persons mind and see what his (or her) attitudes are and they would do that very early when meeting that person. So asking the potential mate certain questions would give him or her some idea of if they are an understanding person with empathy or if they are a die hard throw em in jail anti immigrant type.

Imo, if they felt the person was understanding, they would likely tell that person about their status as an illegal early on and then let that person decide if they wanted to pursue a relationship or pass on it (likely due to the problems in becoming legal).. So i dont see an illegal immigrant keeping that a secret for all that long and i dont see an illegal immigrant getting involved with a die hard anti immigrant type (they would run fast in the opposite direction asap imo).. Now, if you were in the illegal immigrants position, isnt that what you would do?

So imo, most of the people that would throw their illegal mate to the wolves or kick them to the curb would never be in that situation as they will have scared the poop out of any illegal immigrants way long before anything romantic would have come near to happening..
