A shame that you haven't mentioned yet one of Cameron's creationist highlights, "the banana point".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2z-OLG0KyR4

(Of course, in no time, many people pointed out that the bananas we buy today are the result of a long process of human-guided evolution. And also, that there is another place in the human body where a banana can fit nicely.)

I continue to find it interesting that, just because a person has, at some point in their life, been famous for something, even though some of them haven't been relevant within their field of fame for years, they seem to feel that anyone cares what they think.

Similarly, I find it interesting that people seem to give more creedence to these people that got famous for acting, looks, singing, whatever....(it sure as hell wasn't anything involving anything of importance). There seems to be some mysterious assumption that, because a person is famous, they somehow know more than the average bear, are smarter than the average bear. When I gotta say, most of them appear to me, to be crazier and less intelligent than most.

Why do we even care what a has been whacko thinks?

He has a current programme playing now? (current as in, not reruns of some tripe he did when he was a child)

Well dammit LaTige this is real easy to asnwer.
The simple fact is that every idiot knows that only those endowed with Mensa like intelligence learn how to hit a spot on camera(see what they do is take a little tape and place x's on the floor, that tells the actor where to stand so that he is framed just right, camera wise, this is called hitting his spot or mark, whatever)
Add to that the need to actually memorize dialogue and what you have here is obviously the absolute frontier of human evoluti.....er creative design
Hence when these folks speak, other idiot...er folks listen

Maybe what's needed is a notion of God that can conceive of him as being a bit incompetent and a theory of 'at times quite clever design'.

That's why Pastafarians believe that the FSM was drunk during his act of unintelligent design.

Well he said it on CNN didn't he? And recently? That's TV.

Now why CNN would want to put Kirk Cameron back on TV is a legitimate question.

CNN must be taking lessons from the Fox News school of what's relevant and important.

Kirk Cameron may be right in one thing. He is probably hated. The problem is that he is not hated by the people he thinks. Because evil atheists and evolutionists (a shame that this term has to exist), don't hate him. You hate people that mean some kind of danger to you, some threat. Kirk Cameron and his friend the banana man are no threat. He is not hated. He's mocked at by this people.

But, those guys trying to pass creationism as a scientific option, under the disguise of "intelligent design"... Oh, I bet they have voodoo dolls with Kirk Cameron's face. And that they use the biggest needles they have, everytime he comes up with things like the crocoduck.

I don't agree with him or like what he says because he was on TV. I have never really watched "Growing Pains" before. But, my fiance and I have watched his movie Fireproof together and we really liked it. It wasn't because he was on TV it was because he spoke we believe to be the truth. And some people don't see the same truths as us. That's ok. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs.

I also have to say that I am one of the people that most people hate and find offensive as well as unintelligent. I believe what Kirk Cameron said. I believe what the Bible says. And I believe in Creation Science. I have watched Dr. Hovind's videos and have found them very interesting. They are the main basis for my conclusion that Creation Science is going to be part of my belief system.

I believe that, since the general public is obsessed with everything a "Star" does, wears or says during the period that they are a "Star", they find it difficult to understand that once they have lost their "Star" status, the same people who were obsessed with them now ignore them. It is worse for those who get their "Star" status when they are children and lose that "Star" status about the same time they reach adulthood.

I work with an organization called "A Minor Consideration" which, among other things, works with former child stars who have had trouble adjusting to the change in their status. It was started in reaction to the death of my cousin, Rusty Hamer, who had starred on a very popular TV show in the 1950s and early 1960's called "Make Room For Daddy" and who had also been in several major movies as a child. When he reached the age of 16 (after 10 years of being a "Star"), he was considered a "has-been", "type-cast" and unemployable. Rusty developed severe psychological problems which led to his suicide at age 40.

I believe what Kirk Cameron said.

Cameron: “I think its unnatural, I think it’s detrimental and ultimately destructive to so many foundations of civilization.”

Can you enumerate the many foundations of civilization of which Cameron is speaking since you believe him?

From your profile:

'I am bisexual and wouldn't mind having a girlfriend to play with once in a while"

Definition of HOMOSEXUAL
1: of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same sex
2: of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex

I find it extraordinary that as a bisexual woman, you embrace and believe in the idea that homosexuality is unnatural, detrimental and ultimately destructive to so many foundations of civilization yet you practice it yourself. Do you consider yourself a hypocrite? Other people are living and pursue active homosexual lifestyles and that's bad and detrimental to civilization, but it's cool for you?

The fact that Kirk Cameron exists is living proof that whatever was in charge of creation is NOT intelligent.

It happens, there are even homosexual fundimentalist men out there. The depths to which they have been indoctrinated to loath themselves is horrifying and depressing.
