A good Dom understands that for real submission there needs to be a connection not just of a sexual nature but also of the mind body and soul.This I can asure you does not come over nite. Any dom who undertsands this lifestyle will tell you it can take months or longer for a dom and a sub to truley understand what it is both are looking for and feel comfortable enough to offer them seleves to each other . What I always tell young sub's starting in this life style is if it feels wrong and you arent enjoying it the it is wrong for you . Hope this helps Sir Mike

Glad to hear your take on how good Doms work. In my experience, there's some chemistry right up front, deepening over time, till a commitment is reached. I don't have a specific time frame and have sometimes explored after a week or less.

I think using the cam to verify or just talk face to face is fine. I wouldn't have any red flags, so long as the other person was doing the same. Especially on the other side, its crazy over there. This seems to be the only civilized area of collarme. So yea, over there, cam verification it totally ok with Me.

You took my words suggesting going back on topic and claimed I was ordering people around because I'm a Dom, blatantly ignoring that it was a suggestion, and no form of command was used. I was tacitly acknowledging that I had been part of derailing the topic and suggesting we, we being the people I was mainly going back and forth with at the time and myself, return to the subject of the OP. This was not me trying to Dom anything. I was being polite.

Now, I have in the past taken the phrase ad hominem to indicate an an attempt to discredit the person instead of the argument. If "ad hominem" was misused to identify what you did, which I considered to be a case of you choosing to deride me instead of addressing arguments I made, um...oops?

I have a large vocabulary. I don't always pick the right words. In point of fact, in a thread about objectification elsewhere on the boards, I referenced a Lethal Weapon movie, but typed Diehard for the movie name. I'm human. I make mistakes.

I'm sure you've got plenty of good input by now on camming , control presumed by dom (unacceptable), control given by sub (only reasonable way), etc.

Wanted to chime in on what vanilla dating site might work for you.

The Intimate channel on lavalife includes activities that include a few basic kinks. And the "Interested in..." includes "being submissive/a slave" and "being dominant/ a Master" or something like that.

I had some success there about 5-10 years ago. Before graduating to sites like CM.

I prefer CM & FL. But if you're looking for vanilla site w searchable kink options...
