So it's not surprising how they feel about woman's rights, is it? And again, these "I continue to believe that every life begins at conception" retards don't even know enough science to know that the egg and sperm are both alive BEFORE conception. Fucking morons. Anti-Family-Planning, because Family Planning gives women freedom.

I'm guessing no women vote in Mississippi or supported HB1390 huh? BTW... having a regulation that would require all doctors who perform abortions in an "abortion facility" to have admitting privileges at a local hospital, and to be board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, is very reasonable.

I think most understand that the sperm and egg are both alive before conception. They're just using the word "life" in a different context. I don't think I would be willing to say I was "alive" before I was conceived, but would say I was alive after. That's a distinct difference in meaning from a group of cells being alive. But yeah...my mother, grandmother, aunt, two cousins, half sister, and fiance are all anti-abortion. Somehow I suspect it's not because they "hate women."

Rethink the entire poll being based on dishonest starting assumptions, namely that "Pro-Life" is a valid position. EVERYONE is Pro-Life. I'm as pro-life as you are. As is the next random person. It's a dishonest framing of the issue. Those who advocate that woman should have unfettered access to complete family planning services, including abortion, on demand are Pro-Family-Planning. Those who advocate that woman should NOT have unfettered access to complete family planning services, including abortion, on demand are Anti-Family-Planning.

The actual numbers fit quite well with what I said. I even showed the graph showing 49% of women being polled as pro-life on the most recent one shown.

In my experience there are three types of folks on this issue. I call them pro-choice, pro-life, and anti-abortion. Why the distinction? Well... Imagine a 17 year old girl in your church gets pregnant, and you are in a church (such as the catholic church) that opposes abortion being legal. Ask yourself how you treat that girl. In my experience, a lot of folks in conservative parts of the world (or Alaska at least) treat that girl very badly. They make her life miserable. Of course, if she gets an abortion before they find out, then they don't treat her badly at all. So if these folks are going to reward a girl for having an abortion, and punish her for having a baby, why do they oppose abortion? Because they don't want to reward her for the abortion, they want to punish her for the sex! Pro-life folks generally make exceptions for rape and incest, and are willing to feel sorry for a girl who feels she needs an abortion, they oppose it, but won't try to demonize the girl. Anti-abortion folks want to make the girl a "slut," "harlot," "sinner," etc. I say this from experience with close female friends in the Alaska Catholic and Baptist churches, and what they told me about their experiences. If I was a girl in one of these churches and I got pregnant, I'd find a clinic, a coat hanger, or if I couldn't do either, just hang myself, that is how vicious these folks are.

If you oppose unfettered access to woman's healthcare services, including abortion, on demand, just SAY IT HONESTLY. You're Anti-Family-Planning. Say it Loud and Say it Proud! I am assuming in all your years of medical training you know how much is actually involved in an abortion.
