As an avid hunter and fisherman, I don't like the fact that he apparently believes wildlife laws are for other people to follow.

Would you say that as someone with his own hunting show, etc., he bears an increased duty to be knowledgeable of the laws and adhere to them?

Not really. Every hunter and fisherman bears the responsibility to behave resoinsibly and within local laws.

Very true. It isn't entirely unreasonable to think that somebody who earns a fair chunk of their income broadcasting about that stuff is under a slightly greater obligation to remain within the law, though.

I would say yes.

Face it, most hunting and fishing shows are to teach as well as entertain. You learn new techniques. A teacher should at least initially have a greater knowledge of the subject matter than the students.

I can agree with that.

Although tbh staying within hunting laws has always been pretty easy. Every state, at least everywhere I've ever hunted or fished, puts out a pamphlet for out of state hunters/fishermen that covers bag limits, tag requirements, whether you can use bait etc.

“We are aware of the comments and we are conducting an appropriate follow-up,” Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told POLITICO.

An "appropriate follow-up" in Secret Service-speak means a cocktail party at 7, hookers at 11.

Ted was crystal clear he better watch what the fuck he says from now on in regard to making threats, tacit or otherwise.
You're simply misinformed... PAY ATTENTION to what I said in my first post on this the preamble about the way they were going to react came FROM a guy who did 30 years in the same agency.
And Ted Nugent has already established he talks out his ass.

That's cause HE isn't either a hunter or fisherman... Being both myself I TOTALLY CONCUR WITH YOU.
He's the punk in the grade school rumors who runs the lawnmower over the partially buried cat... Or should I say, the wannabee?

I hate it when punk-as bitches get recognized for things I have practiced lawfully and respectfully all my life. And I have NEVER ONCE heard any responsible sportsmen hold Nugent up as anything but a bad example.
