would that be a possative thing??

Depends on the person and the context.  But yes, it can and has been positive for me.

Status: offline 		Slut is a negative term in the vanilla world due to the fact that a sexually open woman is considered or used to be considered to be bad thing. Here is the definition of slut from Webster's dictionary: 

 a : a promiscuous woman

In our lifestyle most owners desire a sexually open slave or sub, male or female. To become sexually open or ready for your owner is a highly desirable thing, hence the terminology” good slut" or "my slut". It is used as a term of endearment because it is in the Master or Mistress's eyes something they value in you.

Think about it; in the vanilla world a whipping is a bad, not to be desired thing correct? In the lifestyle however it is something to be the majority of subs/slaves desire.

Part of entering this lifestyle is learning to abandon quite a bit of your preconceived vanilla notions.

Just because you like one thing and i dont dosent make you wrong and just because i like something and you dont dosent make me wrong.  Personal opinions and who needs to understand that NOONE honestly its an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own.

It is all in the tone of voice and the intent of the speaker.
Just like actions, too.

Status: offline 		A lot of women were raised to feel that "trash talk" was dirty. Using certain words was bad. When they discover this lifestyle they learn to open themselves to so many new experiences. They become more sexual. Or maybe they don't become more sexual, but they learn that it's OKAY to express their sexuality.
 
Being able to embrace the "dirty" words sometimes becomes a freeing experience, not because the word is beautiful, but because the USE of the word is a reminder of how far we've come along...
 
I personally cannot handle the word "cunt". It was used at me while I was molested and even though I didn't know what it meant, I knew it must be very very bad. The use of that word will shut me down when I am in submissive mode. I flashback and my walls go up... I've actually asked my partner to USE the word so I could get used to it (I hate that a word has power over me, yanno?), but it's no use... I can't get used to it... but other words don't affect me good or bad, they just are...

Consider the obviously positive connotation you put to the word "brat". My sentiment regarding any "brat" sub is that they are a manipulating, sensation seeking, pain in the ass. Some people see a brat as a playful and "cute". As you say "I'm not looking down on people that like it..." But I'm not concerning myself with understanding it from another perspective. I just avoid any "brats". We suggest you take the same tact. Apply all the positive aspects you place on the word 'brat' and assign them to 'whore' and 'slut'; and you'll discover the "understanding" you seek. Then avoid anyone who would refer to you in that manner. Just like avoiding a specific act, avoiding specific words just requires communicating that "limit" with a potential partner.

A label or a word does not carry any inference. People bring their definition to the table based upon prior experiences and personal feelings. Within a relationship it's no one else's business. The people within it are happy. Self identification is replaced by the dynamic of the relationship. Any words used to refer to the other aren't subject to any outside validity, and don't require it.
