While BBW and slender seem to be on the opposite sides of the spectrum, I can see how people may veer between the "average" and "BBW" labels. I, for one, am not really sure where BBW begins. For that matter, I'm not even sure where plus sized begins. Being a woman who wears anywhere from a 10 to a 16 depending on the clothes, I use all sorts of words to describe my body shape. Curvy, thick, chubby, average...I personally hate the term BBW, so I don't use it, although I've had people refer to me as such.
Also, friends who are larger than me have referred to me as "small."

I guess its all about perspective.

How does BBW relate to just body size, it says much more than that to me. I say I'm fat. Fat is what I am. Why not call a spade a spade.
