How exactly do you think you this is going to force health care costs to go higher? More people with health care means that the government isn't on the line for the people who don't have it but can afford it. It means that the people who couldn't previously get preventative care now can which has been proven in every study ever done to lower health care costs over time by reducing expensive procedures that could have been avoided if the problem was detected and treated earlier. You're going to have people who are in college or just entering the work force who would never be able to afford insurance on their own stay on their parents plan which won't put them on the public tit. I can't figure out how people still say that this bill is going to raise costs when every study, and also just plain common sense, proves otherwise.

The poor will not have to pay any tax unless the willfuly refuse to take advantage of the many routes availabe to get covered, including Medicaid and subsidies for private insurance if they make too much for Medicaid.

Read a newspaper on occasion, quit relying on strangers in Internet chat forums to inform you Two hints though, insuring preexisting conditions isnt cheap, nor is extending insurance to grown able bodied adult children

You do some research. Talk to some health care professionals who actually run departments at hospitals like I do and every one of them will tell you that the people upstairs who have health insurance are only paying so much because the people downstairs in the emergency room, getting care that they should get at a doctors office, don't have insurance. This puts the cost onto those who do have health insurance which drives up the cost of health insurance for those that can afford to have it in the first place. TURN OFF THE LIMBAUGH! TURN OFF THE FOX NEWS! Read an actual report with numbers, stats, you know things that appear boring but actually tell you unbiased shit that you need to know.
