The Conservative plan is get the fat cat government bureaucrats out of the way

Get Obamas boot off the throat of affordable energy for one thing, fuel America and let our economic engines roar

The vast differences between radical far left antibusiness bigger, all-powerful government types and traditional Conservative values couldnt be any more clear, and yet certain apologists and propagandists for the current regime...

(I can call it a regime cant I, wasnt the Bush presidency called a regime)

Cut the debt

As opposed to Obamas plan, which is to double down on debt

Triple down on debt and vastly expand nanny state entitlements at a time we can least afford them

Ron, you're confusing Conservatives with Republicans.

It's been a few decades since there were many Conservatives in the Republican party. They mostly got replaced by a bunch of Bible Beaters.

That's the Republican plan too, just by differing means.

You want debt reduction?

1) Cut defense
2) Adjust SS and Medicaid/Medicare
3) Cut spending
4) Raise taxes.

All four are necessary. Anything else is lying to push an agenda.

Both parties are guilty, yes.

So, by vastly expanding the nanny state entitlements you mean funding an azealea collection, I see.

We did. We got:

1) Unfunded tax cuts that turned surpluses into massive debt
2) Two recessions, the second one serious because we could no longer buy our way out with monetary policy with near zero interest rates (no fiscal policies ever pursued to fix the problem)
3) Two unfunded wars to add decades of structural debt in addition to the tax cuts
4) Six years wasted trying to create a permanent one-party rule.
5) An entirely new bureaucracy, the Dept. of Homeland Theater, at great expense to do essentially nothing but impose new regulations and burdens on citizens
6) A shredding of the Constitution with the Patriot Act (which now can never die) and indefinite detention via semantics.
7) Supreme Court justices who think corporations are people and should get to vote as well as the people in them.

Pass.

Federal government is smaller under Obama than W or Reagan.

This is why we don't 'debate' the issues with people who don't know what the issues are.
