ORIGINAL: Sanity If we dont get spending and the size of government under control your Marxist fantasies of income equality for the lazy will be farthest from your mind as you sort through a trash heap for your next meal It takes a strong economy to feed a welfare state and your old buddy Obama is destroying the economy, and he is doing so with your help quote:
ORIGINAL: DomKen Brilliant analysis, except for those pesky facts. Income inequality goes down when Democrats are President and up when Republicans are. If you actually took the time and studied the history financially and politically, you would have known that it was the Republicans doing some serious damage not the Democrats. Back in 2009, the economy was tanking faster than the Titanic could sink! If President Obama had listen to the what the GOP, conservative talk radio and cable nuts were saying, and conservatives babbling in general; the nation would have been in a full-blown depression. More likely greater than the first this country experienced in 1929. Besides the doing anything and everything to undermind the creation and signing into law, the ARRA, the GOP tried a number of steps to keep the economy from recovering. They tried every trip in the book to slow, stop, hinder and keep solid bills from being signed into law. When they finally took over the US House in 2011, they were even more in a position to hinder any and all efforts by Democrats to keep the ARRA from contuining for another year. Yet, the data and facts acknowledge that hte ARRA was having a real effect on all the industries in the USA. Some of them not only reboudning towards the end of 2010, but making inroads to recoverry. Its pretty typical that conservatives never wish to cite facts and evidence, even though both are easily found with a simple google search of all these things. In addition, wasnt it the Republicans that couldnt agree on a budget back last August? Isn't it the job of the US House of Representatives's (under the US Constitution) job to create the budget? And that that budget has to get approval from the Democratic controlled Senate and White House before being put into law? And wasn't it the Democrats that went to the compromising table many times, and willing to make cuts in to those areas they REALLY didnt want to make cuts in, JUST TO GET THE BUDGET DONE? And where were the Republicans this whole time? Doing nothing useful to aid the problem towards an acceptable solution. In fact, Congress failed to get a budget together. So they decided on a super committee that would decide the budget and cuts worth $1.2 trillion from the budget. And if they couldnt reach an agreement, $600 Billion would be taken out of both social security and Defense spending. Democrats were willing to compromise and Republicans were not. And what did we see? Republicans going back on their written word of honor a second time (the first was during the final stage of the ACA)! And did any of those conservatives, whom bash Democrats and President Obama every nanosecond, bitch at the people they voted into office over all of this? Not a licking! Why should conservatives being responsible and accountible with power, money and the country's checkbook? Why should any of us think you know what it takes or means to have a strong economy, when your unable to hold the people you vote in favor of to the same level, if not TWICE, the level you slam the Democras and President Obama? You have never been able to fully explain the macro economics of the ARRA, let alone display a sound knowledge of what is and isnt in the ACA. Given all of this evidence, why should anyone take what you state with any seriousness or credibility?
