i don't know about that Hibbie, but i'll tell you what i did notice. the difference between the dressage riders and the showjumpers in their manner. all of the dressage riders thanked their horses and were happy with how things had gone. all were happy to finish and acknowledged the crowd, who cheered for everyone. the same couldn't be said for the jumpers, which is a huge shame. i know it's disappointing if things go wrong, but ffs you're at the olympics meaning you are one of the best in the world. no matter how it goes smile, thank your horse, and acknowledge the crowd who are cheering you for being there. dispite what it has all cost in the making, i personally have seen some spectacular performances across loads of sports. needles
