I bet there is more than one affordable store in your country. And I'm betting that you can get bras for bigger than a B cup. Just a guess...

When I was in Okinawa in the 80's I TOWERED over the women there. I could only shop for clothes on base.

Girl, you are singing my song! Thank goodness I like scarves or I'd never have new clothes here!

*another vote btw for racer backs. I feel strong and sexy in them too!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 4:33:24 PM)

HATE racerbacks. Had to find a new style TWICE because of a changeover.

And the last 10 comments about not being able to find clothing to fit is exactly one of the main reasons I went and had surgery last Monday. It may seem like an extreme, but so what? I am SOOOO looking forward to being able to wear clothing right off the rack!

If I had to guess, I will likely end up between size 8 and 10 (on avg since sizes vary between manufacturers) And I can live with that ;) I'm well aware I will never get even close to size 6.

Wait a second now.....you're making your boobs smaller?

That is soooooo wrong!

And you're using that old selfish excuse of personal inconvenience?

What about the rest of the world that looks at them and fantasizes about them....they get no voice in this?

Something is very wrong with this world.

Yes Lookie, sorry to dissappoint. At 5'2" tall my boobs were a DDD+. Sorry but I always looked like I was going to tip over forward.
Head, neck, backaches ALL the time...yes I got some of them lopped off...and it still wasn't enough IMO. I want cute, perky petite titties that will stand at attention when I fucking tell them to...not look at the floor regardless of what position I'm in.

Trust me, you'll appreciate my new and improved chestacles...wait a couple months, you'll see all the before and afters and I garuntee you'll agree with me. I swear I did it for your own good.

I get my sports bras from Decent Exposures. They're supposed to be a substitute for a regular bra, but the lightweight cotton doesn't shape my breasts the same.

Sizes are from 30 AA to 54L. You customize size, color, fabric, etc. I get straps that are two inches longer than standard.

Do you dread putting your bra on in the morning and look forward to taking it off at night? Have you avoided wearing a bra for years because you couldn't find something comfortable? Have you wondered why it should be so hard to find a decent, comfortable, cotton bra? With over 150 sizes, 15 colors, and 3 fabrics to choose from, we are confident you will find what you are looking for, including latex-free elastic. For active-wear or leisure wear, whether you are pregnant, nursing, or just looking for comfort, we know you are going to love your new Decent Exposures® products.

We can:

- lengthen or shorten straps
- cut armholes higher or lower
- make in-between sizes (e.g. 35 or 43)
- add pockets to any bra for a prosthesis or for extra coverage across the bust ($5)
- substitute a 2" wide lycra or dri-release 'ribbing' in place of the rib elastic for those who don't want anything tight across the rib cage. Best for A-F cups

http://www.decentexposures.com/fabrics.shtml

COTTON - for light support
Soft, medium-weight, 100% cotton interlock, prewashed to minimize shrinkage. Recommended for smaller cup sizes (A-E), night-time/leisure wear for larger sizes, or for those who have not worn a bra for a long time.

ORGANIC COTTON
"Organic" cotton is grown without pesticides or other chemicals, then spun and finished using natural processing agents. Organic cotton and organic cotton with lycra are now available in several colors and we hope to add more colors in the future. We also have a 'light-weight' cream organic cotton available that is similiar to the eyelet weight, without the eyelet 'texture'.

COTTON EYELET - for light support
A light-weight, 100% pointelle cotton, slightly textured for a more feminine look. Great for smaller cup sizes, underpants, boxers and summer-weight clothing.

LYCRA® - for medium support
90% cotton, 10% Lycra® has "memory yarn" to hold its shape (and hold you in) better. Great for A-F cups, and nursing moms who need extra support.

DRI-RELEASE® WICKING FABRIC - for medium support
78% polyester, 14% cotton, 8% Lycra® . Designed especially for us, our Dri-Release® fabric fits similar to cotton/Lycra® but wicks away moisture to keep you dry year round.

LINED LYCRA ® or LINED DRI-RELEASE® - for firm support without underwires
Two layers in front offer firm support. Cooler and thinner than velour. Especially great for D-K cups and nursing moms needing firm support, as it has more "give" for lifting up and down all day.

COTTON VELOUR - for firm support without underwires
76% cotton, 24% polyester. A little heavier and warmer than the lined bras, but stretches less. Works great as an exercise bra for smaller sizes (A-C), or everyday active-wear for all sizes.

Email us or call to request sample swatches and for current print selection.

kalikshama -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 4:43:45 PM)

<---- cuts underwires out except for in one "date bra."

LookieNoNookie -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 4:56:06 PM)

Hmmmmmmm

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 4:58:51 PM)

Underwires. Who thought they were a good idea? My current style, which is NOT one that really fits well, doesn't have wires. It also doesn't give me hives, so WINNING.

DeviantlyD -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 5:48:51 PM)

LadyHibiscus: But...do you get the same support with a bra that doesn't have underwires? I tried a wireless bra once. It was little better than wearing a tight t-shirt. *sighs*

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 5:57:27 PM)

Yes, with this one. Wacoal, of course. Honestly, I never felt the wires did anything but give me hives, and irriated spots where the ends stabbed me.

DeviantlyD -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 6:09:48 PM)

I know what you mean. Once those wires poke a hole through the fabric, I just toss them.

When I was back home a few years ago, I got these fabulous bras that were from a maker in Poland called "Kris Line". They were comfortable and soooo pretty!!! I can't seem to find them anywhere now. I just checked now and they seem to have a site, but nowhere near their old one that showed all the different styles and sizes. http://www.en.krisline.com/

Thanks for the tip on Wacoal, I will look into that one.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 6:22:00 PM)

Wacoal makes excellent bras ina huge variety of styles. Mine has one of those 'pink ribbon' tags on it. It stands on its own...since it needs to make sure I don't have any of that immodest nipple show through! [;)]

NuevaVida -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 7:04:17 PM)

Oh the topic of bras. I lost a ton of weight and lost nothing in the boobage area. The result? I'm a 34-G. These are not easy to buy off the rack, and most of the off the rack ones are very uncomfortable.

I've gone to a bra-fitter at Nordstrom. I'm willing to spend serious money on a bra to get the support, comfort and look that I want (refuse to wear granny-type supportive bras). When you're a G cup it's very difficult to find that G in anything less than a 40.

Thanks to a diligent and very helpful bra sizer, I now buy Chantelle's, at $80-90 a pop.

I've found my size at Macy's, but didn't like the fit as much.

Once I reach my goal weight, I'm going under the chop chop knife, so I can have reasonable tata's.

Plastic surgery is truly wondrous.

In this current economy and as a fiscally conservative fellow, I find it offensive that you don't recognize that nipple covers are a flagrant waste of valuable resources.

Still another woman selfishly disregarding others.

And if this kind of discussion continues...I will use the word "flagrant" again!

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 7:32:28 PM)

Our SilverMark OFFERED to be my boob holder. As usual, being a MAN, he reneged on the deal. So I am left to the sad devices of fabric. What's this world coming to, I'd like to know.

[Announcer Voice] And, for those of you playing our Home Game, if Lookie uses "Flagrant" again, you could win an all-expenses-paid trip to his house for a weekend of flagrant debouchery.[/Announcer Voice]

Um. Dang. Knowing what JJ Debauchery looks like, do I encourage him or not....[8D]

fetisheden -> RE: Too much hate for slim girlies. (8/19/2012 7:53:01 PM)

back in the day rich people were fat so that was what every woman wanted to be.now only poor people are fat so it's not "in style". the fashionable figure always changes.i really would not worry about it
