If the sharing of ideas can't fly around here, we all may as well start waiting for the gold mail. The sharing of ideas had zero to do with that thread being pulled. As has happened in the past, and as Alpha recently mentioned on another thread, sometimes people who are on moderation or who are banned find ways to reappear. Well, I don't believe I participated in that thread, so I don't have a personal stake in it, but...in general, if that were to happen, why not still keep the thread? Many of the posters, I'm sure, were perfectly legit. Why not just pull the offending posts? And even if it was started by someone who shouldn't have been posting (which I don't know if it was), surely there would be a way to just keep the post up and no longer allow that person to post. I don't question that the moderators have to pull posts for that reason. What I do question, though, is why the rest of us can't continue to enjoy the conversation?
