What happened to that fin domme thread? The one that linked to this. Was it pulled? Or am I just looking in the wrong forums?

Actually, I asked him to ease up on the moving gifs. We've had issues with those in the past, and I noticed they suddenly were popping up everywhere.

I asked him to stop, he stopped. Innovative concept, huh?

I didn't answer your poll because I'm not yet, but I'm about to be.

Somehow, it also seems that the "BDSM on a Budget" thread was pulled. How in the heck can a thread like that warrant being pulled? If the sharing of ideas can't fly around here, we all may as well start waiting for the gold mail. The original post on that thread wasn't a TOS violation for giving vague reference to another thread. Had it contained a link, I could understand it, since the other thread was finally pulled. (Of course, that was after it had generated traffic on the forum.) In other words, there just went everybody's good and educational input on a good thread. If that is the case, I might as well hang it up.

The sharing of ideas had zero to do with that thread being pulled. As has happened in the past, and as Alpha recently mentioned on another thread, sometimes people who are on moderation or who are banned find ways to reappear.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 6:48:09 PM)

I wondered what was missing!! I get notices every day that my posts are being pulled...guess there are some dollar store haters out there!

Why on earth does that warrant a thread being pulled? Delete the morons, spank them, and leave the rest!

Well, I don't believe I participated in that thread, so I don't have a personal stake in it, but...in general, if that were to happen, why not still keep the thread? Many of the posters, I'm sure, were perfectly legit. Why not just pull the offending posts? And even if it was started by someone who shouldn't have been posting (which I don't know if it was), surely there would be a way to just keep the post up and no longer allow that person to post.

I don't question that the moderators have to pull posts for that reason. What I do question, though, is why the rest of us can't continue to enjoy the conversation?

ModTwentyOne -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:06:16 PM)

An opening post cannot be pulled.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:10:05 PM)

Didn't Hilly start that thread?

That may be the case. But can that poster simply be frozen from posting any longer but the thread kept for those that are enjoying talking with one another?

I'm not looking for a technical answer on this. What I mean is...surely, where there's a will, there's a way.

LaTigresse -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:10:57 PM)

That is what I thought I saw.

Granted...........I wasn't paying the utmost of attention.

crazyml -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:12:07 PM)

Is this the "isn't bdsm only for the rich" thread? That was definitely started by a sock.

LaTigresse -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:12:45 PM)

Personally, Unless the entire topic of a thread is against TOS....regardless of who starts a thread I think that pulling the entire thread is just poopy. And lazy. Not to mention a disservice to the readers and any who may wish to participate.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:13:03 PM)

That was a sock thread, yes. But the BDSM on a budget was not.

TNDommeK -> RE: How many people are under the Mods thumb? (8/26/2012 7:14:29 PM)

A very polite wave and smile. It seems I have been the keeper of golden letter here lately as well.

(I just read that fin domme tumblr thingie....and, wow)
