Status: offline 		Seems with her travelling for a few weeks and me busy on work for a few months the whole internal enslavement thing is slipping a bit. She came home to me and, apparently, isn't sure she wants to be owned anymore. I, of course, did not try to influence her thinking on this at all and gave her a wide open, "Well, what do you want?" She thought about it a moment then asked me what I wanted her to want.

Anyone think I'll be without a slave in another week or two? *laughs*

This may become an every two year or so ritual for us.

Like all other labels I don't really expect it to change much and she'll come to that realization herself pretty quick I expect. This does seem to happen every 2 years or so with us. This time, however, I've finally wised up and I'm making of it exactly as much as it deserves.

For the record, my answer to her "What do you want?" question was, "I want you to be happy honey." -- an answer which she found entirely unsatisfying *laughs*.

Nope. She's officially free. Near as I can tell what that means is when she asks me what she should do I use a few extra words. Instead of "Do X mine." now it's, "Well, if it were me I'd do X." I'll be sure and keep everyone posted though about our exciting transition back into vanilla-land.

I have a feeling you know as well as I do that if you take the slave actions away from someone who is internally enslaved, they find rather quickly that reassurance that they really do want to be a slave.

Status: offline 		Well I have to admit that it was all I could do to not give her an eye roll when she told me this. I actually don't think she'd notice being enslaved or not. If I refused to provide guidance she would notice that but I have no intention of being a pill. Seriously though, my own thought is that if you have to ask if it's OK to be free then it's probably not.

Well damn! A serious question to a joke thread (well... the story is true although I've certainly played a bit with wording). It's a joke because of our history. You have a response.

PS: Carol has just declared that she's finally found a hard limit. She's not going with "damned cute". She's always seen herself more as the dark and dangerous kind although she may be the only human on the face of the planet who thinks that.

Slavery implies your leadership while freedom implies making your own decisions. What I do in this kind of events is "Well, you are free to make your own decision now". Having no middle ground usually makes them chose slavery, because they do not really wanna make their own decisions.

That, of course, brings up yet a new problem. We don't have a punishment dynamic but now that I own her again I have to give careful consideration to the fact that I was planning on having 1-2 weeks of fun with this and she just ruined it. Maybe I should post out on general and solicit for ways to punish my slave?
