Sorry, I'm with Butch. These people - on the whole - hate us and look forward to the day when we are no more. In their eyes, there will never be peace with us.

The one way that I will disagree with some is that with our over-all construct of how we wage war, we cannot defeat them. We need to change our view of how wars are fought.

A campaign of mamby-pamby by an invader will always lose to a campaign of "patriots", fighting to keep hearth and home safe. I warned people about this when we first went into Afghanistan and I will continue to do so.

Umm, it suddenly came to me that other people might also have a plan, and that those guys might be less naive than thou... - and averse to telling us what their plan is... Astounding thought, not so? Rule....hello Rule...I'm waiting...who has a plan that is working today?

Maybe some new ideas are needed...even if radical.. Tell me what did I list that if implemented would not at least change the status quo…? Which has not worked.

Well the "strategy" of invading whole Arab countries,destroying them and killing thousands of their people and the hate that would create seems to be what our cons are suggesting we do again......when they claim the president needs to get back to what we were doing before he took office.....
