She's inappropriately seeking attention in a dominant manner by saying, "My desire to interact with you is more important than your need for sleep, and what I want I get...screw you." It is a undesirable, disrepectful and should be curbed. Make sure her exercise needs are met (most folks underestimate this), and is well-disciplined. Like Cesar Millan says, "Rules, boundaries, and limitations." Unless your body is betraying you when you nap (heart problems, diabetes, etc.), and she's picking up on this and trying to wake you for your own good, she is crossing a boundary by putting her needs before yours. What is your dog's, breed and sexual status? One more thought...has she any serious medical issues that might be bothering her?
