so, how long have you been a homophobic/mysogynistyc little boy?

has it been life long, or later onset?

There's absolutely nothing in any of my posts that could be considered either homophobic or misogynistic, what a dirty tactic, how very adult of you.
And before you make such baseless accusations, perhaps you should learn to spell them properly.

JanahX -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/4/2012 12:42:46 AM)

How the hell would you know what adult is? You come off as one of the biggest cry babies Ive seen around here in eons. Sucks to be you.

I'm not really talking about sexual practices because they're usually clearly defined on profiles (hard limits etc) but can a willingness to please a Domme in every other aspect of a relationship be a turn off, even if she believes it to be genuine?

To the OP, after skimming through this thread I think I can answer this pretty succinctly:

Yes, it is possible to be too submissive.  However, judging from the responses here?  You don't seem to be falling into that category.

So, (just perhaps) the "turn off" has nothing to do with submission and more to do with how it's packaged/presented?

PeonForHer -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/4/2012 5:08:51 AM)

My impression has been that dominants, on the whole, go for the idea of 'power exchange'. The implication is that they get off on your voluntarily giving your power to them. In order to do that you need to have the power to give in the first place - unlike a robot. The flip side of that for the sub - well, this sub, anyway - is that I get off on relinquishing my power, not on being devoid of that power in the first place.

Me, I always push the general notion on these boards of D/s as an inherently paradoxical thing: it's the paradox that makes it all exciting. For her, the femdom, I assume that she wants always to know that you could say 'no', but don't.

Ok, I wanna apologize for this one. I apparently misunderstood something neckbone said, and reacted badly.

So, neckbone, I do apologize for this post.

No.

From the perspective of a male dom, this is it in a nutshell - for me.

{ed to add "for me"}

So there you have it everyone, the masks slip, before you go any further do yourself an enormous favour and type 'Girl Writes What' into You Tube, listen and learn, any of her posts will do, just do that even if you don't read another line. Apparently is an interesting word to use in an apology isn't it, then again who's to say? some people think the word unintelligent is a descriptor....oh the irony. And if you "know you've arrived when you're important enough for a slander campaign" what are you when you're on the receiving end of a libellous statement, unimportant?,or just not as important as an linking arms with the "Femdom hivemind" and dancing 'round in a "mocking" circle (check the times of the posts if you don't believe me), clearly the behaviour of calm, reasonable people, slave owners with an undeniable sense of perspective.
Frankly I couldn't care less about an apology, there's a certain type of mud you only have to sling once, and somebody who has an obsession with labels would be only to aware of that, as would someone who "loves" writing, but hates dictionaries. (just sayin')
So does my opinion matter? not in the least, go right ahead, I'm a "Brat" that's what everyone would call me....oh wait.. everyone? is everyone where you come from into BDSM? you're not part of a scene?...or a herd, perhaps you don't care what they think though, nice outfit by the way.
And if I do come crawling back in a few weeks, will you have taken me off your preference list? It doesn't matter,I wont be coming here again. I would compare being on this site to attending a Star Trek convention, on the surface it may seem harmless, but be warned, some of those people dressed as Mr Spock actually believe they're Vulcans.
Shoot from the hip pop psychology, accompanied by a picture of a St. Andrew's cross, thanks but no thanks.
I actually think the market for 'Cabaret Englishmen' is pretty saturated in the States at the moment Crazy, but at least Piers Morgan is out of the U.K, he's so sarcastic and dry and witty isn't he, typical" Brit humour" I don't know that much about him though, but I seem to remember he had a bit of a fall out with Ian Hislop, didn't they end up in court or something? HIGNFY upset him didn't they. I've heard that Hislop has no ambition for an American T.V career, I wonder why? maybe it's because he lacks the intellect of Cowell and Morgan.

Christ on a Crumpet! Is that the time? well, it's been a valuable experience, I really do hope that "can you be to submissive" attracts a lot of newbie subs, I think this will be an eye opening experience for them.

Y'all have fun now,
Neckbone (relax, I'm gone for good)

Well, if this is your response to an apology, then let the door hit you on the way out. Hard.

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/6/2012 1:22:11 PM)

That was the most surreal flounce I've seen in a long time. What does Have I Got News For You have to do with any of this? You tube? Star Trek? Libel? Circle Dancing?

I'd say more, but since you're never coming back, I'll stick with 'Good luck in your future endeavors, may you find everything you deserve'.

MsGypsey -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/6/2012 2:05:13 PM)

I obviously don't watch enough television to get the reference to Piers Morgan. But I trust that it ties into the thread somewhere.

AthenaSurrenders -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/7/2012 2:25:23 AM)

Nope. Not at all.

GreedyTop -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/7/2012 3:30:42 AM)

I gotta say, as far as flounces go, it certainly WAS - creative. I give it a 4.9.

I don't think the OP really undestands the relationship between Piers 'moron' Morgan and Ian Hislop. Morgan was done for insider trading by buying shares (as did his wife) in Viglen the day before a couple of finance journos wrote a glowing report on Viglen for the tabloid rag Morgan edited (The Daily Mirror).

Hislop (editor of the rather more impressive Private Eye magazine) found out about it, did multiple exposes and pushed for the government and police to actually investigate the crime. Morgan was found guilty by the Press Complaints Commision and got a huge smack on the wrist, although he avoided being sent to prison.

There is hatred between Morgan and Hislop, but thankfully we've shipped the lying, amoral shitbag Morgan to the US (sorry guys!) and kept the superbly witty and intelligent Ian Hislop for ourselves.

LaTigresse -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/7/2012 9:04:59 AM)

Apparently, since I don't watch regular television......it's a win win for me.

I do agree with Greedy though, on a scale of 1 - 10.......4.9 is about right. Maybe a 5 if he sticks it. I really only enjoy the trolls and puppets that are smart enough to know they are being jabbed with that sharp stick and react appropriately. Sometimes I miss some of our old reactionary chest thumpers like UA that were easy to engage and send spiraling into a flames of spewage.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Is it possible to be too submissive? (10/7/2012 10:29:33 AM)

So that's the deal with Piers? The UK has much to answer for. :(

YEah, they just don't make 'em like they used to. *sigh*
