I had a submissive male from a distant state view my profile. Out of curiousity, I viewed his profile. I was surprised to get a message from him apologizing that his profile was so uninteresting that after viewing it, I didn't write to him. I pointed out that if he had actually READ my profile when he viewed it, he would have seen that a) I'm not looking at the moment, b) when I am looking, it is for someone not more than 100 miles away, and 3) we really have very few common interests. I further explained that I view lots of profiles and rarely write to the person. I regard viewing profiles as a casual thing and not necessarily an indicator of wanting to get to know the person.

Message from a 'sub', indignant that I 'dismissed' him [I'd made the mistake of replying with a 'thanks but no thanks' msg: don't feed the trolls], even though he acknowledged that he hit a couple of my hard limits. Easy to distinguish! A good man, even if not a sub, would have accepted my decision, or even said 'I understand; thanks anyway for looking at my profile'. A twitchy switch or do-me bottom whines, complains and argues, which just digs him even deeper into the 'No way Jose' pile.
