We dont have much proof of other than every president (with the possible exception of Grover Cleveland) getting their poles waxed in the oval office.   So, not sure what the bitch is there....

"Grover the groper"liked them young

In response to the question of why does someone need an assault weapon consider that the second amendment helps defend the first amendment. Being reasonable goes a long way. Being reasonable and armed with an M16 with a thirty round clip gets you even further.

There you go,a typical armed conservative way of thinking.
This is what I am looking forward to.......living in a country where everyone sports an M16,just like the feed we get of all those lucky third world countries where all the young men get to carry AK-47's
Those will be happy days indeed [8|]

Not all of the young men in Somalia get to carry Kalashnikov knock offs: the majority are just there so that the tooled up lads have somebody local to shoot at in between kidnappings.

Let this be the last time we have a two party system. Let this be the time that wakes the country up to the thought that there are more than two possibilities.

The system is pretty much hard wired to have two viable parties.

Unless you change the way voting works over there, you're fighting mathematics, which rarely ends well.

The ak is superior to the m16 but my preference would be .220 swift in any configuration.

I have lived here for most of my 68 years and remain unconvinced that there is any meaningful difference between the demopubs and the repulicrats.

I suppose that's why most electioneering comes down to pushing personalities rather than parties.

Pretty much like cuba, viet nam, or russia with the caveat that there they are more honest in that they tell you that all of the candidates are from the same party.

mnottertail -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 12:57:59 PM)

Well, wonder whos gonna run China.  That will be more important.  We are like third worlders now.

Moonhead -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 1:08:29 PM)

Just out of interest, can anybody in here name the current Chinese Premier without resorting to wiki?
In a top down structure like the globalised economy we've been saddled with by the monetarists, he should be as interesting to you guys as whichever cretin you put in power is to us...

slvemike4u -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 1:10:44 PM)

Yeah I can...but how are you going to know I didn't resort to wiki ?[:D]

slvemike4u -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 1:13:33 PM)

By the way his name is Wen Jiabao [:D].but he doesn't have long for this job ...please don't ask me for the names of his possible successors.
Till it happens I won't bother educating myself about it,it's not like I have any say in it,so why bother

Moonhead -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 1:14:11 PM)

I can't. The internet's like that.
[;)]
Just curious, is all: for all I know there's people on here who think Li Peng is still in charge...

I think you have hit on something there. We have managed to alienate so many of our friends that we are becoming one of the "non-aligned"

mnottertail -> RE: How will the left react, if Obama loses? (11/6/2012 1:17:16 PM)

I am glad to see tradiitonal three syllable names people coming to power in China. (and fuckin scared as well, if we don't sort out the US) those old two syllable maoists are good fuckin riddance.

The new CCP leadership is promising more of the same, and less Maoism is part of the platform.

Their politics is actual more important then those of the United States regionally here.
