That would assume 34 delegates (If Florida goes to Romney) break and go rouge. I dont see that happening.

In Mississippi on business for a bit, I wouldn't bet on the non racist BS....

Well, yes. I do not see that happening either. There was one elector that refused to vote in 2000, but they did not cast a faithless vote and did not change the outcome.

That is not a fantasy. That would be a nightmare.

Almost half of the states require electors to pledge not to cast a faithless vote. Off the top of my head, I do not know which half those are. That scenario would only work if none of the faithless electors came from pledge states.

While I would love to see the 17th amendment repealed, this is not the route to repeal that I would like to see.

I am going to be in Mississippi tomorrow. I have been there before and in several other Southern states. I have never seen this happen. I am so going to be watching for it.

I look at the Republican celebrations, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of black faces I see.

I look at the Democrat celebrations, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of white faces I see.
