What have you personally done to try and change this situation?

tazzy, you're either purposely trying to misinterpret my posts or you have serious comprehension problems. Either way, this is getting tedious.

Perhaps I'm slow too. Nick, you've posted a number of links on this thread, as well as on others. Which one takes us to the article you want us to comment on?

littlewonder -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 8:45:41 PM)

It's called a police department. If they don't take you seriously on the local level, then you go higher up to the chief of police. If he doesn't then you continue to go higher up.

The men in these stats obviously aren't keeping silent.

Ummm stef, can you please point out posts that indicate this?

Go through your 'Gender Roles' whinefest and see for yourself. Even after the mods went through and gutted it, there are still people asking you to prove where anyone here was denying it. You failed to provide any proof whatsoever.

What plenty of people seem to refuse to acknowledge is the REAL ISSUE that's said in the article, not them refusing that violence on men doesn't exist.

People have acknowledged the problem. You must have missed it in all your lying, whining and backpedaling.

You need to get your facts straight before shooting yourself in the foot.

What precious irony.

Men who are victims of domestic violence are victims because they remain silent.

There is hardly any voice from men BECAUSE THERE ARE HARDLY PLACES FOR MEN TO GET THE HELP THEY NEED.

Have you ever thought about that? How can a man's voice be heard as much as women's when there are hardly as many places where women can? Sure, there are helplines on a phone for men. Yeah, as if that's going to really do help. A person showing sympathy on a phoneline. Wow now all his problems are solved. heh

A logical person would think that if there are more resources available for men, that would then ENCOURAGE men to voice out more. With less resources and support for men, the less encouraged men are to voice out.

Have you ever called a helpline? They're not just persons showing sympathy. The people answering those lines have resources and references they give based on the victim's situation, needs and desires. You can call and just talk if you want or you can call and get real help.

You kept silent.

Firstly, do you have any idea at all that this thread is related to the other thread I made yesterday? It can't get anymore obvious....unless you weren't in this forum yesterday. I've only made 2 threads in here in the past....year or two. This is one of them, the other is the thread I made just yesterday.

This is the other thread.

http://www.collarchat.com/m_4310895/tm.htm

The link provided in the OP in this other thread is the actual discussion. THIS IS THE REAL TOPIC OF ALL OF THIS. The exact discussion that everyone in here seems to refuse facing. So instead they derail the topic and make it about me instead of the actual article that explains how organisations have sexist attitudes against men.

Just in case you can't figure out what exact link I am talking about which I clearly explained in the last paragraph, I will post the link in here.

So here it is

http://www.newuniversity.org/2012/11/opinion/gender-roles-men-women-and-rape/

That link is suppose to be the actual discussion which many people here don't want to know about

Hey Nick, you haven't answered my question. What have you personally done to try and change the situation?

Pst.. rules of posting.. stay on topic. Your topic is in your OP... not what was from another thread that has been closed by the Admins.

Do your homework and read this whole thread. There will be your answer.

tazzygirl -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 9:03:15 PM)

You have yet to state what you have done personally.

ScentsOfSlave -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 9:05:25 PM)

Bitching and whining in a Collarchat forum is doing absolutely nothing.

ScentsOfSlave -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 9:07:20 PM)

I have read the entire thread and your bullshit posts have been nauseating.

If I could do something that would change things, I would. We've been through this over and over and over and over and over again. WTF is wrong you? Read back in this thread, all the answers are there.

But again, look at the fucking article. This is what all of this drama is about.

Where in the article does it mention me? What do I have to do with the article? I have no connection at all to this article, right? So why the fuck bring my personal life into it?

Stop making diversion tactics simply because you have no refutations towards the article and you can't handle the bloody truth.

It's utterly ridiculous to sit here and blame me, YES that's right, BLAME ME!!! for the sexist attitudes these organisations have against men. How the flying fuck is this my fault? How the flying fuck is it my fault for the actions these organisations do? Come up with an argument. If you can't, what is this telling us?

How old are you people? You are acting like children.

ScentsOfSlave -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 9:12:29 PM)

Nick, there was no blame in my post. I simply asked you a question. Defensive much?

Have you volunteered your time? Have you worked with men of DV? Have you opened your home... or your wallet, to help your cause?

naughtynick81 -> RE: Why the double standard? (11/28/2012 9:16:00 PM)

I give up, this thread is full of unintelligent anti male bigots that can't handle the truth. It's pointless going further with such simplistic people who haven't got the slightest clue. I'm wasting my time.
