Why? because people break in and steal them. If their supply isnt right, if they screw up, if they dont follow the rules, they are held responsible. Currently, if you dont report your gun stolen.. what happens? Nothing. What doesnt happen is you dont get reimbursed from the insurance company. So you may report them stolen.. but some dont. Do you have a problem with your guns being locked a way safely within your home, Hill? Or are you one of those gun owners who likes to display them and show them off to anyone who happens to enter? Are you one of these irresponsible gun owners? Do we not warn women not to walk down dark alleys at night or to at least not walk alone because we know they can be raped there? Gun owners have been warned for years. Yet 500,000 guns are stolen a year 200,000 people are being treated for gun injuries. How many levels of locks should be between a firearm and the outside world? 1, 2, 7, 12? FR On gun safes, I tried snagging a picture off Facebook to share here, but there must be a loose nut behind the keyboard or something, because it won't upload. It was one of those, "redneck solutions," things, and showed an upright freezer with the shelves removed, being used as a gun locker. Done properly, I think it would be very effective.

Lock the fucking shit up at home and half these problems would be solved. Yes, lock the fucking shit up so addicts cant get drugs and half the drug problems will be solved. Soothe your egos some other way. What the hell happened to personal responsibility? Yes...PERSONAL responsibility...that means the person RESPONSIBLE for the crime is to blame, NOT the victem of the initial crime of theft. Put the blame and responsibility where it belongs...WITH THE CRIMINAL...not another victem.You guys can afford 300 dollar guns.. but you cant afford a safe to lock them up in?
