I think that is a narrow way of looking at it. Just because something doesnt look right to one person doesnt mean its a result of favoritism. Cound it be? yes. It could easily not be.

You got lucky then. I can't say I know any parents that don't even if it's small, even if the kids don't notice it.

I believe every parent does. Sometimes its birth order... the oldest... or the baby. Sometimes its the first born son. Sometimes its the only daughter. Sometimes its the sickest child of the family.

I originally said "it opens the door for favoritism", not it is favoritism. I also said, "I expect the mods not to [play favorites]", not "I expect them to look like they're not playing favorites".

Do I expect them not to look like it? No. Do I expect them to really not be? Yes. I don't think that's a narrow way of looking at it at all.

At this point, all I see is people assuming they are.

You asked earlier about the c urcumcision posts. I didnt have to think long about who that might be. Could it be the result of almost every discussion that person entered into ended up with circumcision's being the root cause of every evil of the world, thereby derailing the topic, often completely?

I haven't assumed that. I'm just asking a question. I'm asking the question to get the information I need to determine that, but I haven't assumed anything. As of right now, my mind isn't made up.

I didnt say you assumed it. I said I see people assuming that.

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:02:53 AM)

No, tazzy, you said all you see is people assuming that.

Pam

tazzygirl -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:04:13 AM)

Yes, meaning I see no proof... not that all people are assuming that.

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:04:58 AM)

Alright.

Pam

littlewonder -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:05:44 AM)

We all know who it is and the reason is because it ends up always coming down to Zionism and the holocaust and all other kinds of nasty shit that no one wants to hear and all his conversations start and end the same way.

tazzygirl -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:07:31 AM)

I can see them telling a person they cant keep posting the same things repeatedly irregardless of the OP. I dont believe that person would get banned if the OP was about circumcision and he added to the conversation.

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:18:35 AM)

Unless he was lying, he is not allowed to make anti-circumcision posts or to comment negatively on Jewish culture.

Pam

tazzygirl -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:23:32 AM)

Do we know what was said? Or was this his interpretation of what was said? I find it hard to believe that if the topic is circumcisions, he would not be able to post at all. I cannot say he was lying. I do know that particular poster sometimes interprets things a bit differently than I do, for example.

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:26:02 AM)

I can't say if it was true. He was quoting directly from an email, supposedly.

No, we don't know what was said. We never know what was said. That's precisely what makes this so hard.

Pam

tazzygirl -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:30:03 AM)

On the boards?

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:31:33 AM)

We don't know what administration really says to someone in an email.

Pam

tazzygirl -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:32:06 AM)

I meant, did he post this on the boards?

metamorfosis -> RE: The decline of collarme (1/7/2013 1:33:19 AM)

No.

Pam
