Prior to meeting... she says she never ever gives out her picture ever prior to meeting.... for "identity reasons"

this sounds like a conartist.

You are not allowed to post the screen names of people in the forums with the intent to label them as "fake" or a "scammer". If this lady won't give you a picture before she meets with you and that's a deal breaker for you, then don't meet with her. Simple.

No, it is not weird.. I have met a couple of people off of Cm and other places without seeing a picture first... but if you put stock in a picture first then by all means get one first...

Not too weird. Personal preference thing. If it were me, I'd want you to know what I looked like before hand, so that if you didn't find me attractive we could skip the meeting. But there's nothing overly suspicious about choosing not to send a pic - it's her choice, and you have the choice to walk away if you don't like it.

Speaking as someone who despises photos, it's a very late stage before anyone sees a pic of me. If I thought it was fair to expect people to show up to a date without seeing me, I probably would. The suspicion which comes standard-issue with an internet connection should be tempered by the realization that she can't actually get anything from you unless you give it, which means you don't need to worry very much unless she asks for your routing number.

In response to all... what if she is a 300 lb 6 foot lady and you are into 5 foot skinny midgets? To me it's really tough to take the time to get to know someone and meet them prior to seeing at least 2 pictures .

Most people will exchange a photo prior to meeting. On occasion, some women won't. I don't know if I'd label it weird. It's simply a preference. The risk, of course, is that you'll meet someone and instantly see you have no physical chemistry with them. Such is life.

But it's certainly reasonable to decline meeting someone who won't exchange photos. On the other hand, if it's a short distance, a meeting isn't necessarily a big risk. If you meet and instantly see they aren't your physical type, it's also reasonable for you to cut the meeting short; that's the risk someone takes if they refuse to provide a photo. You aren't obliged to meet there for an hour chatting with them over coffee.

That's absolutely fine, and you are entitled to your standards. You are within your right to say 'sorry, I don't meet people without seeing a picture first so we're not a match'. She doesn't have to conform to your wishes.

Well if I set up a meeting with someone, it is to meet them. I had a reason for meeting them, if nothing else I made good friends... Life is too short to worry about the what ifs...

It could even be a pic, of just the body ya know? i even said that... and she said "i wont do that."...

i was contacted by a member that saw my post and they did have a good point, being in the Govt, you could have a security clearance, and knowing what that is all about myself, i can see her point, but you still can put a body only pic...

She could send you 10 year old photos of her when she was a supermodel. You don't know what a person really looks like until you're standing in front of them.

It still comes down to, she doesn't want to send pics for whatever reason... nothing is odd about it, guys ask me for multiple pics all the time and I tell them no.. just don't see the point, I don't even have that many posted on Fb... the pic thing I feel is a younger generation thing for sure..

I'm not talking about the ones that dont post pic, yes some are very hot... i saw it myself already... but... to never allow a pic... to me is suspicious ,.. even a pic that has just their body...

I never saw a photo of Master before I met him. It wasn't a big deal. <shrug>
