I wouldn't be terribly opposed to the first one if the person was standing fully clothed. I'm not saying that should be their primary pic or anything, but it would allow for a full length shot and with the head bowed, the face isn't necessarily seen all that well for those who would be concerned.

Sorry, but that's about the most positive contribution that I can make on the subject.

Oh, wait. I take that back. It's not only male Dominants who can be won over with a gourmet meal. [:)]

I very highly doubt anyone cared enough to be genuinely angered.

As an uppity sub with no photos whatsoever, I found the whole thing entertaining.

Back in the day, before the reduction ceremony, the twins were...well, they were friggin' huge. As in, couldn't breast feed sitting up because I could not make eye contact with the infant. I did a little cooking for some or the events, and wasn't always all that careful about what I was wearing on top. Also, I am incredibly short--as in, I often don't have to kneel to do what most of us on on our knees. Got the picture? Toothpick, broken in half, two olives.

Ok. Pancakes. Hot grill. Hot assistant. She shows me her tattoo. I gasp and lean right into the grill.

The pain was not mitigated by the tattoo. Also, she wasn't interested, except to push my booby into some cold water.

I see your point, but there are a lot of good reasons why someone would not want to post photos. Perhaps dicretion necessary for personal or business reasons. Not all sub/slaves are into exhibitionism. There is the fear that the photos will wind up all over the NET.

Let me say first that I've been a member here for many years. About 10 years I think. But have never actually posted a message on these boards before! This is my very first one. So bear that in mind: if I have broken any conventions or anything, its not deliberate!! :)
I put this idea on my journal earlier, and I thought I would put it here too.

Just so you know, I'm a dominant gay Master. based in Edinburgh but currently in London.
I have over a decade's experience in dominating guys. I specialise in footworship and body worship, but I also like other stuff (see my profile). I've had an idea that I think many Masters and Mistresses would support.

ALL SLAVES SHOULD HAVE 3 STANDARD PICS :)
Yes. I think All slaves should have a standard set of pics of him/herself in the 3 most basic slave poses. which he/she can send to any Master. Having these pics could even be a condition of membership of sites like these, for any slave!

Before anyone starts about discretion and privacy, I do think the slaves should be allowed to cover their faces in these pics, or perhaps wear some kind of mask. And the pics don't necessarily need to be put on their profile page. But they should have them available.

Of course all dominants use their slaves differently. But there are some very basic poses which we would all recognise, and which all slaves should be able to adopt.

These are the 3 standard pics I suggest.
In all of these the slave should be stripped naked or in tight shorts/thong.
The pics should be taken from the front and/or above. (so, from the dom's p.o.v.)
1. STANDING: Simply standing to attention with your hands behind your back, head bowed
2. KNEELING: Down on your knees, but with your body upright, hands clasped in front of you, head bowed.
3. GROVELLING: down on your hands and knees, with your back flat (in the footstool position). head bowed

NB Obviously a slave can choose to have additional pics, showing all sorts of poses and specialities, toys etc. But these 3 should be the 'standard set'.

I'd really love to see this become official policy at collarme. But thats probably expecting too much. However, I would say to all slaves reading this: even if it doesnt become official policy, you could do it anyway. This is what we (doms) want to see. We want to see you as we would when you first come to us, and strip in front of us for the first time.

Now I wouldn't require my submissive to kneel unless he was getting something out from under the table or something. Many people in my age bracket, and that includes any submissive I'd consider as well as myself, aren't all that great at kneeling and/or getting up afterward, so I'm not going to require that. Therefore, I don't need to see it in pictures.

Now, see, this wouldn't work for me either. I prefer a submissive with self-respect and I so do NOT like the worthless worm variety. I also don't do objectification, so this wouldn't fly with me.

Actually, all these positions may be your preferences, but they would fall flat with many of us. We aren't all looking for the same things in a submissive or slave and we aren't all as into the high protocol as you appear to be.

Plus, I'd prefer to see pictures of the person doing things he's interested in, everyday pictures of him showing his personality, etc. I prefer a submissive who has outside interests and a life of his own besides serving me. You know, a well-rounded person.

Bottom line is, we are each individuals and we have individual preferences. To say CM should make this "official policy" almost smacks of "one true wayism" and no one looks highly upon that attitude here.

Amayos, who changed his CM name to something dreadful, was a professional, artistic photographer. His pictures were the best.

Pictures that show a person with a bit of style and setting make the best impression. That's what he excelled at. Sadly for myself, I just don't take those kind of picturesl.
